Excellent. Morey has hit it out of the park this off season. Outside of our first pick, which I still believe was the wrong one, it has been about as good as you could hope given a max deal tying up a huge chunk of the available space.

So how much guaranteed money is on a standard contract at pick 41?

I don't know if there's a set standard. Browsing through Spotrac, it looks like a lot of the 4-year ones have the last 2 years non-guaranteed.

Man Trent Jr at 25 is a good fit as a big combo with Maxey long-term. He can play on ball at 6'5 man I hope we get him on a vet min prove it deal like Oubre.

The longer it takes the better the chance, but I thought denver might be interested now that their draft pick went down?

How were we able to sign Bona to that contract? Didn't that require cap space?

No, you can always exceed the cap to sign rookie scale
or 2nd round rookie contracts. The second round rookie contract exception is new to the CBA this year.

I'd think that Braun will slide into the starting lineup? Murray, Braun, Porter Jr., Gordon, Jokic. Perhaps as a 6th man, they do lack depth.
Bucks have a gaping hole at the SG, if Trent wants to sign a prove-it deal, that seems like a natural fit. That defense will be atrocious though, but they had a similar approach last year with Beasley.

Even if he takes a minimum here this year, I wouldn't necessarily expect him back next year. We'll probably* be limited to offering the tax MLE at about $5.7M. If he plays well enough where we'd want him as a long-term solution, then he may also have played himself into a bigger contract elsewhere.
* There is a possibility that we'd have the bigger non-tax MLE. That would likely only happen if we don't trade KJ Martin for a player we intend to keep next year. Even then we wouldn't have the full amount of the NTMLE if Oubre & Drummond opt in, so someone might need to be traded to free up space under the 1st apron. But if Oubre opts out, you may have to choose between him and Trent Jr.
(It's a complex situation, and that's assuming he even signs here this year, which I don't really expect.)

I was worried how they'd replace a guy named Basketball as the backup center, but Morey giving us A Damn Boner for next 4 years makes up for it.

That team has Lakers level spacing without the defense, i just don't think they're a contender anymore unless Braun becomes a good shoter

Yeah, the defense is gonna suck. Lopez is starting to get washed too and Lillard already lost part of his first step last season, i just don't see them being a factor at all.

Losing freaking KCP does not drop Denver out of contender status lol
always a jump shot away.

Denver is fully dependent on what Murray does. If he goes off, they are very hard to beat. If he is pedestrian or worse, they aren't that great.

Nice to see in practice; just need to see him catch a heater in a game. Just once before summer league ends.

I like that they have him working on movement shooting in the corner. That is a helpful skill set to have. Would like to see that coming off a screen, though.

There actually is if you use the second round exception to sign a 2nd round pick. (Which we must have) It has to use the minimum salary scale per year, and you have to offer either a three year deal with a 3rd year team option or a 4 year deal with a 4th year team option.
