Goes to college at Nova. Had a good perhaps great season, not sensational.

Supposedly bombed all his interviews. Supposedly had some medical red flags. Neither of these points had been fleshed out in any way in any long form reporting.

Now out here, he looks like a young LeBron's cousin with the way he moves and finishes.

The rumor was Kyle Neptune bashing him, however, I don't know if that is actually anything but a rumor. However, I will say, Whitmore proved last year he was an NBA player, but he also was like discount-Maggette, ball-hogging like his life depended on it.

After one Rockets game in the press conference, he remarked that "yes, he can pass." In this summer league, he is moving the ball and not being a ball stopper, so clearly someone in that organization got in his ear about being a willing passer. If you think about it, it makes no sense for him to be a ball stopper on this particular squad because Sengun, FVV, Amen Thompson and Jabari all try to make the extra pass to go from good shots to great shots. There was a reason only Sengun really showed out statistically last season. Udoka had them playing team basketball.

I'm really shocked that Sheppard is playing so great. I was not high on him at all. I only saw a few of his college games though, wasn't impressed. Stupid me.

Yes it's summer league, but the kid can play.

I think Cal's track record with guards is that he holds them back, I was high on Reed and Rob just because of that.

Murray
SGA
Maxey
Monk
Herro
Quickley
Booker
Bledsoe
Fox
Wallace

And now add Reed and probably Dillingham to the collection of guys who are going to be much better pros than they were with him

I think Ime is incredibly good, underrated. When discussing who are best coaches, people naturally, but boringly mention guys from top teams who made play offs, but Ime is right there, he turned that Rocket around. Him and Hardy are freaking great lottery team coaches, it was funny seeing Ainge blow team three times over cause Hardy just kept on winning games

I think Ime could be one of those dynasty coaches, not militaristic like Euros, but guy gets his authority in a good way, and he really knows what hes doing.
If man wasnt a stupid dog and didnt sleep with freaking bosses wife, he probably has a ring now, maybe even two.

Detroit and Jenkins in particular doing a good job containing Sheppard.

Houston's varsity may make some hay incorporating the Curry crosscut once Sheppard's reputation gets set.

Complete opposite for me.

I knew he was legit if given an opportunity.

He's far more than a shooter.

I just hope the Rockets are smart and bold enough to put the ball in his hands and not let the other players freeze him out.

He'll come off the bench behind FVV and Green. No one's going to freeze him out.

You could probably end Vince Nate Williams' career with a compilation of his worst plays in this game. I kept thinking it would get better, that he'd turn it around. It didn't, and he never did.

Jenkins was locked in for Detroit. They took advantage of HOU's tired legs: third game in four days.
