The Houston Rockets are signing forward Jack McVeigh to a two-way contract. McVeigh spent the last three seasons with the Tasmania JackJumpers of the Australian NBL.
In 40 games with Tasmania last season, the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 17.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. McVeigh shot 51.8% from the field, including 42% on 4.5 three-point attempts per game.
McVeigh played three seasons at Nebraska returning to Australia to turn pro. The 28-year-old played his first three professional seasons with the Adelaide 36ers of the NBL.
