You don’t think he and Brad are just best buddies that hang out at summer league?

My hope for the luxury tax issues is that annual 10% salary cap increases shave $30 million off the bill each year. We pay a big tax a couple of years, but when Holiday retires and the cap increases, we stabilize. Address KP when the time comes and we see how his health is.

KP will be up first.

Jrue got an extension, so he's going to be under contract until 2028, if he picks up the player option.

Cs will have to make a decision on KP at the end of the 2025-26 season.

So the potential 3-peat is on.

Indeed, still though, middle ground of two of those guys and picks is decently reasonable.

Kuminga, Moody, a first, and a swap seems alright. Maybe Utah gives back a nice 2nd too. Salary wise though, I guess Wiggins is part of it too?

I really don't get the Warriors interest in Lauri. Are they even a top 5/6 team in the west with that trade? I guess you want to extend Steph's years but you were a fringe play-in team, lost a couple of veterans, and Steph/Draymond are another year older. What's the end game?

If I'm Danny those later year GS picks would be great assets to have

Utah gotta shoot for the moon here though. This would be full blow up, you're going to want to hit big on trading your last blue chip, and there's not a lot of other guys available close to Lauri's level.

And it's Danny. There's no way he walks away with a deal that was reasonable or fair. He's going to want to gut them or at least make it look like that.

So Podz, Moody, two picks and something like 4 swaps?

GS did land some new guards, Hield and Melton.

If Steph is 4 years younger then that's a good move.

But GSW not accepting that the window is closed will only prolong their rebuild.

They get Markkanen, their window may not be closed. Thompson was a shell of his former self. Hield is a better shooter at this point or at least comparable. Hield will benefit from a ton of open looks.

DA will then turn Podziemski into another 1st down pick the road.

Steph will be 37 in March.

Players above the age of 34 become injury prone.

Markkanen and Hield are not good on defense.

We've seen this scenario numerous times in the past.

It just doesn't work.

What I mean is championship teams that got old and hope they return to championship form by making a trade.
