Lavine for Bradley Beal
Why for Phoenix: Cost reduction and better fit
Why for Chicago: Give Beal a fresh start and change things up a bit since there is no market for Lavine
Maybe the trade can be extended to: Lavine + Vuicevic for Beal + Nursic
Maybe Phoenix needs to add some 2nd rounds to make it work.

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Re: Lavine for Bradley Beal
a) beal says no unless he's getting waived and keeps his full salary
b) cant expand the trade since phoenix cant aggregate

Re: Lavine for Bradley Beal
Why didn't Beal respond to the fresh start in PHO when he had a pair of other stars to help shoulder the load? Or why do the Bulls want to take on the salary that PHO is so happy to reduce?
This is nonsense.

Re: Lavine for Bradley Beal
Agree Beal needs a fresh start, and he’s redundant on PHX, but he still has his no-trade clause. I don’t see him waiving it to go a team in rebuild.
Only teams I see him considering waiving it for are maybe the Lakers or Golden State.

Re: Lavine for Bradley Beal
Tied in with LAL seems the way for Beal’s NTC.. Then a fourth team added taking some salary to keep everyone happy/compliant. But then you need to know why LAL takes Beal over Zach?
Phoenix should be willing to add sone value though, they technically still can and should.

Re: Lavine for Bradley Beal
Bulls far better off keeping Lavine. If he is on roster at start of season and fit, he can build his value up and possibly be traded before deadline.
Beal's contract and play are worse than Lavine's IMO and his No Trade clause makes it untouchable

Re: Lavine for Bradley Beal
Bradley Beal is EXACTLY why the clippers let PG13 walk instead of handing him a max at 34 for an often injured player that has the noise of a NTC.
Would NEVER give one to a player no matter who it is.

I agree for the most part. Lavine is better and Beal would never agree to go to Chicago which, even if it were to happen, wouldn’t help the Bulls in any meaningful way.

Beal played well once he got healthy. But yeah, Bulls would need a reason to make this trade and I don’t see one. Lavine has been better over the past three seasons and taking on a contract with the same time and more salary isn’t helping the Bulls do anything.
