Who wants Kawhi or Cousins here? At least here on RealGM, I have never seen anyone seriously wanting either of those 2 outside their prime.

I tried this on the trade and transaction board in a complicated deal with Warrior and Lauri

I got laughed off the board by non-Knicks fans thinking it’s way too light for the Knicks….

Honestly I think it’s crazy if Knicks wouldn’t do it and honestly I think they would if it was available to them

1) Half of the high-level players are injury-prone by some extension.

Very injury-prone: Embiid, Zion, Butler, AD, Kawhi, Ingram, PG13, KP, Lonzo, LaMello, Lavine, Irving, KAT, Jamal Murray, MPJ Jr, OG,

Kind of injury-prone (especially with aging): Giannis, Middleton, Donovan, Curry (fragile ankles), Durant, Beal, Harden, Lauri, Myles Turner, Nurkic.

Starting to get a reputation: Haliburton, Cade, Mark Williams, Duren,

2) The other half is virtually untouchable and we do not have a shot to trade for them.

There is no way the Clippers will be able to trade Kawhi. At his point, he has a more negative trade value (especially with that contract) than Levine.
