Re: Den/Det/LAC
Why would Denver do this? Detroit is stealing a lot of value for absorbing a not very large contract.

Denver is moving off of 32 million for a guy that is virtually unplayable.
Denver getting Westbrook and Sasser
Also gives Denver more room under the tax line so they can use the full MLE (12.8 million) on a FA.
Denver really lacks 2nd round picks moving forward after giving 3 away to Charlotte, so moving off Nnaji is a bit harder.

I still think this deal makes a lot of sense for Denver.

As a piston fan, that really is too good of a deal for us. Yes, 2031 is far away, but 7 years from now, the joker is 36. Maybe the team is still competing at a high level, but very few players age like lebron.

Denver is already above the first apron. This deal only saves them 2 million so they cant use full MLE with or without it.

Yeah that post was before they signed Saric, who I assume got the tax payer exception.

Re: Den/Det/LAC
If pick is top 25 protected maybe. Joking.
This is realy bad for Denver. Westbrook will be bought out and Sasser is worst player than Nnaji. We save something like $2M. We don't need caps space we are under 2nd apron. Pick is worth much more.
