I swear I hope you're joking

Absolutely not we just drafted Brunson lite

Good Lord, after three SL games. Maybe you forgot how we annointed Knox as a great pick after SL or Maybe you forgot in the 2021 NBA Summer League, McBride averaged 15.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Not saying Kolek won't be good but in no way shape or form is he a better all around player than Deuce AFTER 3 SL games. What DISRESPECT. SMH

I can understand why the Knicks FO wanted veteran depth at PG because there were times last season when the Knicks missed the stability in those times Brunson was off the court resting or injuries. Deuce is getting better but wasn't the type of floor general the Knicks needed in those moments and Kolek is still just a rookie for all his maturity.

Rokas would be just another rookie in that spot with all the ups and downs that comes with it. Cam isn't a sexy signing but he's a capable vet, he's played at a high level in the playoffs and when you need a guy with experience but isn't washed to run the point for 10-15mins or a spot start now and then because of injury he can do it.

By next season Kolek will have a season under his belt and there probably will be a realistic path to a role for Rokas. Plus we don't know what wheeling and dealing the FO will do until then so he might be gone or he might be ready to come in and compete for regular season rotation time. I can already tell Cam is going to be the whipping boy for this forum.

2 things about dadiet that show up on film

1/ he’s 6’8 but what’s his wingspan really? 6’8? Less?
2/ lots of lift from his feet on his jumpers

Skapintsev looks like iHart... he can get some offensive rebounds, he can pass some too, and he is learning to make better hustle plays, although his rim protection isn't nearly as good as iHart's yet... but he can definitely shoot (better than iHart), and if he can get this floaters consistently :o !! I think he'll get a spot esp with Huk looking like a bum

Rokas looked good in this game, but I think Kolek imo is the better NBA style, Thibs style of a player

Rokas showed some hesi action today. He seems able to get off his shot. He seems pretty strong too. From the limited clips it looks like he was working to stay in front of his man. And the pickpocket steals are nice because they show he's tuned in and court aware.

Kolek’s drawing the contact to score and hitting the FT looked so much like Brunson. He’s also smart and hard working. I’d never expect him to be as good as Jalen, but even to play a similar style and be a large fraction as good as JB would be just what are need.

Rokas looked like he got over his jet lag. Too bad there’s no room for him now.

What matters most is the team can keep clicking when he sits down. Kolek can run the team when needed

Never know about Rokas. If they move Deuce he could get an offer.

Skapintsev is 26 years old. He doesn't have much time left to join the Association...I'll say this, he's taken a step up from his play last year in G-League, but that will have to be translated to NBA level...
