That’s either from a Biden campaign staffer or from the right that wants to keep Biden in the race.

The vast majority of Democratic voters and Democratic candidates this election is that Biden has to go. Biden is down on key swing states and it will only get worse as he continues to stumble.

Democrats running across the country are outperforming Biden. Only a few want him to stay in the race, Duckworth and Coons. Maybe Tester?

How can they make this happen? What are the mechanisms in place for something like this. Are the any? This is insane.

More and more Democratic senators and congresspeople are coming out saying that Joe has to go. Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries, Adam Schiff, and many others have gone public asking Biden to bow out. No one wants Biden to stay in the race except maybe Clyde_Style

It’s “Joever”. Now Biden’s COVID diagnosis was made public. The handwriting is on the wall.

Ok. But umm, HOW do they make this happen? He can use the medical excuse? What if he doesn't want to? Are there mechanisms in place that prevent them from forcing him out? Your guess is as good as mine?

Joe has to agree to step down. Between the Party elites, huge Party donors, and his sinking poll numbers, that should be enough to convince a reasonable person who puts country over Party. We can still say, honestly, that the Party platform will still be mostly a continuation of the Biden agenda that he recently revealed at a campaign event. I loved it. Lots of great domestic stuff in there.

Of course. Me too. But that’s not the issue. It’s about getting voter turnout and what the polls are showing.

Don't speak for me. I'm voting for Rocky the Raccoon if that's who is the nominee.

Biden has been and is a good president. I'm not going to bash him, because I respect the job he has done.

Democrats are Like what joker said, “ chase after cars but don’t know what do when they catch them”, …I think we all agree Kamala just doesn’t have national appeal (unfortunately)….but the optics of passing over a minority female candidate that should be next inline is terrible…another problem orchestrated by a party that again shows that it’s devoid of pragmatism

To make myself feel better , forces to remove Biden could very much be positive , it could and looks as if (plan for Supreme Court reform) will give him the opening to propose more radical ideas , more progressive policy

Well, if they're going to replace Biden then it makes sense to put together a winning ticket.

I'd be over the moon if they chose Whitmer. She'd mop the floor with Trump.

Here’s an update:

If dems are actually serious about ending this mummer's farce, it'd be Kamala Harris / Bernie Sanders

Kamala Harris has to run as President if Biden drops out. It would look really bad if it is somebody else.

Bernie will not be a part of the plan. There's zero percent chance of him being on the ticket

I’d support Kamala at the head of the ticket over Biden and I don’t even like Kamala very much. But at least she can articulate an idea clearly. I think she’d have a better chance in the debate to turn the tide than Biden

Another thing is she could come out and say she prefers to stay in her role as VP. Her name is still on the ticket, sure some people would get mad but what are they gonna do? Stay home? Vote for Trump? March yourself into one of those mass detention camps early to save time? The Dems need to worry less about optics and more about winning at all costs before they all get operation hummingbird’ed
