This pick always felt uncharacteristic of the Grizzlies' scouting process. He makes 6m this year so this gets them around 12m under the tax. Maybe they resign Kennard now.

The summer is always such a rude reminder that the quality of players outside the US is significantly worse but the quality of the basketball is so much better. It’s really depressing how much better the NBA product could be if they cared to fix it.

I can’t remember who in the media said it but they nailed it with Tyus where he’s a top 30 PG but nobody is really excited to have him as their starter so he’s destined to be underpaid.

I’m on there a good amount since they’re my local team. There was a lot of Reed Sheppard fans there pre-draft but I reckon like 60% wanted Sarr. The returns so far have been nothing short of disastrous though.
