Huff is eligible and has played well, but I am hard pressed to imagine one of the final two-way slots would go to a 4th center.

Rhoden I guess would be next?

I guess Xavier Moon is eligible in that he has only logged 3-years of NBA service. It would be kind of interesting to have a 29 year old 2way guy.

But if the outcome is Moon and Huff, I am ok with that. Both provide emergency capacity to replace an injured guard or big-man. So: sure that makes sense to me.

I mean there's literally hundreds of guys playing in Vegas who aren't signed that they could have their eyes on.

The Magic did that with Kevon Harris a few years ago. Signed him after he had a great summer with the Wolves.

One or both of the available 2way contracts could come from assessments here in game-4.

The only guy on that list that has done enough to take the last game off is TdS. AB should definitely be running the last game without question if he’s healthy, as far as Jett I’ll remain neutral on that but lean kinda towards he as well needs the floor time.

Like I get why its important to have some pho try outs for the 12-15 spots and so on. Just gez whiz guys. Like, if

- Results from your picks don't matter
- You keep them out due to injury concerns

Why are we even bothering? I just don't understand it. Best we can tell is you can immediately tell if someone is clueless regarding the game and that is it.

No incentive for teams to do well. Nothing that brings value in players.

SL to me was sold on the premise of a training camp with games and really was fun it felt like years ago. Now its just meh.

I haven't watched any of the games so far. Does anyone have an honest assessment of how AB looked in his second summer league? Not through Magic-colored glasses, but honest. Does he look like a player ready to make that Year 2 leap, or does he look like just another dude out there against mediocre competition?

My unbiased, honest assessment, putting my reputation on this board on the line, is that he's looked like nothing short of a prime Magic Johnson.

Honestly, I haven't watched much of the games myself, but from what I've heard and seen in highlights, AB seems to be showing significant improvement in his second summer league outing. Some might even argue that he's demonstrating skills comparable to, if not surpassing, those of Magic Johnson. However, it's crucial to maintain perspective, considering the varying levels of competition in the summer league. It'll be interesting to see how he transitions these skills to the regular season.

Error: CloudStrikeException

Message: Unexpected posting behavior detected regarding Anthony Black's comparison to Magic Johnson.

Details:
During the evaluation of AB's performance in his second summer league, an anomaly occurred in the assessment logic, attributing an exaggerated comparison to Magic Johnson. This erroneous statement may have been influenced by CloudStrike, causing a disruption in accurate evaluation.
