I might be going to my first 905 game in Sauga this season. We got a squad!

Smart move. His shooting is elite. With some good coaching/development, he should be able to become one of those Isaiah Joe, Anthony Morrow, Duncan Robinson, Joe Harris types.

Who do we have to release for him to remain on the main squad?

His contract is not guaranteed so there is no financial penalty to the team when he is released. He may deserve to be on the team but the "temps" are first to go in moves that are all about money.

The answer is getting rid of a guaranteed contract like Boucher or Agbaji or Temple. It (almost) never happens.

Nice jumper but he only every attacks left. The few times he ever puts the ball in the right side he settles for a jumper. Stuff to work on.

Why didn't anyone draft him if he's a sharpshooter?

Re: Raptors sign Jamison Battle (exhibit 10)
Gabe Brown.
Ok, maybe I should add some context. Let's remember how excited many of us fans got about sharpshooter Gabe Brown after his strong summer performance. Of course, he has yet to pan out. Even after putting up some decent numbers in Europe last season, it doesn't appear NBA teams are lining up to bring him in.
I don't want to prejudge Battle based on the Brown experience (or even the similarities to Jordan Nwora), but it does force me to be at most cautiously optimistic. We need to see him against some real NBA talent to figure out if he can provide any value and is worthy a roster spot being freed up.

Walter will probably have some stints with 905 as well like Gradey last year.
Obviously JKW going to have some playing time with the big club but I still expect him to plays some games with 905.
Especially if (big if) Sasha Vezenkov stays with us .
I think this 905 team going to be more fun to watch than last year .
A suivre !

Anyone else think he could be a solid rotation piece? I even think he has the size to be slid into the starting lineup as the 3.
