rokas we basically need to get him over so we can get him to develop in a more meaningful way.
He is wasted in Europe.
He plays with flash, but he is like the College QB who struggles when the windows are smaller in the pros. Once he learns what he can and can't get away with he will be a very effective player.

Kolek is a straight up guy. Like he is Brunson 2.0, Nash junior, whatever. He has that cold blood, that big Lin energy. If Brunson missed a month for whatever reason (Space Jam 3, whoops all Villanovians) he could step in and we'd make it. Kolek has big league handles, and has a crazy in him like Tom Brady.

Has the body/frame of a hedge fund guy, but he has game.

Not sure what 2 mil can do in terms of tradability with his contract, but I'm still scratching my head on the Cam signing.

can't teach Kolek's court vision. Put him on the floor with Mikal, OG, Hart and Donte and watch him operate.

Possibly you've become accustomed to seeing Brunson playing PG.

Maybe, but I guess what I mean to say was outside of being a legit 6'4" dude seems to have grown man strength too ...and that dunk surprised me.

He would hurt our team defensively. Rokas is much better than him on D and still very good on offense.
If you like Cam, then don’t sign Rokas. Not sure why Rokas wasn’t signed.

I’ll go out on a limb here and say he’s a much better player at this point.

Rokas. Both are 23 with many other similarities but what gives Rokas the edge for me is that he's NBA body ready and his defensive awareness. He's been playing professionally for awhile and he's Definitely not that same bug eyed kid from a few Summers ago. Imo, Knicks got a steal in the 2nd round that has 1st round talent that they can possibly utilize in a trade.

Kolek

I'd rather keep Rokas. I think his game is more likely to translate once the real games start. Kolek definitely got the head start in SL coming out hot since first game. I like how he passes. I wonder if Thibs would even value it though as believe it or not PGs score in Thibs systems more than scan the floor. And I think Rokas would fit right in. Again, he started out slower so Kolek now has a larger sample of great games but after the first game, which Rokas never played poorly in, just not aggressive he found his place and has been good ever since.

I know it's hard to look past Kolek having ball on string, setting up so many guys with passes. Look, I love it. But if I had to make a choice I'd pick the guy with more plug and play ability and he's taller, faster, stronger and can score pretty easily. Probably more important he's already a pro and competed for his leagues highest honors.

Successful SL overall. We will have way better talent at the end of the bench compared to last season.
