I would not put them in the same tier as Nuggets, Thunder or Mavs in the West or Celtics and even maybe Sixers or Bucks in the East.

Averaging 32 points on 27 shots & 9 free throw attempts a game is actually quite average when you think about it.

Really then how come no other player did it in the players outside of maybe Embiid?

You did up until Dallas. Miami with Butler is a non playoff team, Cavs without Mitchell and Jarrett Allen ..playin at best, Indy without Haliburton non playoff/playin team.
Not their fault but yeah ...cupcake.

Mitchell played 3 games.
Haliburton got injured in the 3rd quarter of game 2 when we were up by 10.

LOL a hurt Mitch for half a series while missing their best big too. Indy a faux contender and with Hali missing games is no threat....stop it.

That “faux contender” managed to come back from 3-2 & beat your lot

Because no one else attempted near that many shots ?
I’m pretty confident that most #1 options would average 32 points if they got to shoot the ball 27 times a game while attempting 9 free throws.

Hmm but the 6'8"Tatum shot less shots at worse efficiency, while surrounded by 3 ALLstars. Brunson was keyed in on during the entire playoffs and still managed a higher efficiency with more shots and a bad foot. So by your definition Tatum is a below average #1 option

Ayo Knicks fans tell OP stop playing with y'all name. This the new era Knicks. Led by Brunson, they got multiple Dawgs on that roster. It's up from here.

Rounded up a little bit there. Actually on 26 shots. And he averaged 28 on 21 shots the year before.

Even then, that’s not your average performance unless we’re talking top 10 players.

No name calling..being butthurt is not an excuse. The year is 2024 welcome to the Present, where Tatum could not do what you said "most #1 options " would do.

That’s because he was too busy focusing on leading his team to a championship instead of stat chasing.

Come back to me when Brunson can at least lead his team to a conference finals appearance .. something Tatum has done multiple times.

You’ve been way too arrogant towards other fan bases since Boston finally won a chip. Try being humble.

I don’t think OG true second star . So not contender for championship . They will make ECF and be beat by Boston or 76ers in 6
