Do you agree with Embiid?

Yes, dude has GOAT talent, and injuries robbed him of that opportunity.

No, regardless of health, he would not have a shot at being the GOAT.

Same. We are just pretty much in the post Lebron era like there was a short post Jordan era. There will be another GOAT challenger but it will be a wing or guard.

Nah, I disagree. Jokic proved you can be center and still the most dominant offensive engine in the game. Now, add the fact centers often can be most dominant defensive force, Center can easily be a goat i think. Short PG might never be goat at this point, too many freaks playing the game at high level now.

You've always had a soft spot for your bigs, my man.

The position he plays, the way the game is today, not really possible. Injuries or not.

Centers won the last 4 MVP awards though.

Being a goat candidate either relies on having a stacked team or team hopping.

Someone like Jokic has zero chance cause he will never team hop and the Nuggets FO/ownership is mediocre at best.

Doesn't really have to do with position at all. Wemby has a chance on the Spurs if they can get some talent around him.

My man is playing on one of the most talented teams in basketballs history and is already making excuses for why they might not win.

Soft af.

Those injuries may have actually helped him as he "learned to fall" and now gets as many free throws a game as he wants.

+Giannis
+Doncic
+Paul
+Nash

-AI
-Westbrook

I did a tier list of “players I consider special” awhile ago and had Embiid in the bottom tier with AI, Westbrook, Nash, and Paul

Clearly have Doncic and Giannis above him given the gap in post season quality of play

yea good call on those four, not bad off the dome.
I think Westbrook has a case. He's fallen out of favour now but the first season he averaged a triple double was pretty special.
