I'll write it again. The Pacers can not offer Nembhard an extension high enough for him to accept. Also, they need to decline the team option to avoid him becoming an UFA.

Nembhard has more value than SGA's cousin, dont see a real reason for Indy to consider it

Re: Mid season Wolves and Pacers
I've got Nemb worth a decent amount more. Maybe they could get a better fit in Indiana, but I think that looks like an eventual consolidation rather than a 1 for 1.
Hali/TJ
Nemb/Sheppard
Mathurin/Nesmith/Walker
Siakam/Toppin/Walker
Turner/Jackson
If anything I'd look at getting a better 2G using Nemb, Walker, and picks.

Re: Mid season Wolves and Pacers
I feel like Nembhard is a breakout candidate if he ever was on his own team. NAW, on the other hand, is just a guy IMO. 3&D archetype but not uber reliable on the 3 side of it and not dominant on the D side. He just is what he is. He isn't being held back by a lack of opportunity or anything. He's just a decent rotation piece.
I don't think IND is ever going to really be able to trade Nembhard for a high return unless Hali were to miss like a whole year and Nembhard could prove himself. They're always going to be selling him as a bit of a lottery ticket and you don't get full value for that. I don't think he'll be the "centerpiece" headline of a trade package like some are hyping him up to be, but he can be traded for a better player than NAW.

Minny needs to add a fair amount of value.
A protected first probably. Nembhard is freakin good. NAW is just a guy.

If you watch 82 games of him plus playoffs you will see NAW is dominant on D. He is one of the best at getting through screens in the entire league. He lacks the size to defend the big boys, but he can do an excellent job against any guard you could name. He especially gave Booker and Beal fits in the first series. Nembhard is good at D, NAW would have been 2nd team all NBA (or close to it,) if he had qualified with enough games at over 20 minutes.
