The only thing I remember from him was one game where he was played and he didn't get back on D 'cause he just jogged. Finch didn't like what he saw and sat him down and I think this was garbage minutes time! I hope he's not lazy and don't take opportunities as lightly as that next time and hopefully learned his lesson there.

In one game he picked up 3 or 4 fouls in about 8 plays. In another Podz brought the Warriors back from down big to single digits and almost got the starters off the bench. Miller had some bad moments, not to many bright ones. But part of that is not being given more opportunities to play and adapt to the NBA. In the G he had some shall we call them Super Bowl and Toilet Bowl games. This year is not a make or break it year for Miller the same way it is for Minott. That being true, Miller does need to show something in the way of growth either in Summer League or in the preseason to earn a preliminary rotation spot. Finch will not just hand it to him.

After one year I still struggle to find a right comparison for him.

A year ago at NBA combine Leonard Miller was 6'10, 211lbs and a 7-foot-2 wingspan, 37 inch maximum vertical. He has ideal comboforward size. But he also lacks body control and his footwork while shooting is weird at best. His shooting form and footwork looks better now, but can he defend PF/SF? Can he rebound? Can he pass? Can he dribble? Summer league games will be a huge opportunity for him.

If he only could add power to power forward we'd be in business. I'd love to see him at PF and play with Reid too. Miller can rebound and shoot plus run the floor. I still think he's going to be really good. Maybe a year under his belt makes a huge difference.

Yes, agree. This is the problem with Miller: how he can play with power when he does not have enough skills? In g-league he was known for being relentless rebounder. So Id say thing that his main attribute that he should bring is motor. I see the point of bench unit playing with very high pace, because Reid, Shannon, Dilly, Minott - they all can benefit from playing with high pace. However, someone should bring hustle and rebounding, because Naz is not a good rebounder, our wings and guards outside of Edwards are not good rebounders either. Otherwise we get killed on boards and outhustled on 50/50 balls. Bench our often plays with one of Towns/Edwards, but either way, we need a "true PF" physical enforcer. Call me crazy but in this role I see LeDee as more ready 3rd string PF.

I see Miller as what you're looking for. He also has enough skill.

Miller should get some run with the big team but Finch hates him to much to give him a shot, even when Garza is playing like… that stuff you find in the toilet bowl.
