Give Wyc some cred too for ushering the change from Danny to Brad. Not an obvious move, Brad had no experience. And Danny being the true Celtic he is, facilitated the whole thing.

Brad Stevens telling the entire league what moves he is going to make and nobody can stop him. Next level.

Not only that but Mazzulla also had no NBA HC experience.

And neither did Udoka, for that matter.

So Wyc was onboard with hiring a POBO with no front office experience (Brad) and 2 head coaches who had 0 NBA HC experience (Udoka, then Mazzulla), all in a short time period and all while the Celtics were title contenders who hadn't won a title since 2008 so there was pressure to win a title yet he was hiring these guys with no experience.

It was a bold strategy but clearly it worked out.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Brad's coaching tenure not appreciated enough.

11 of the 17 from the 2020 ECF roster aren't on any NBA teams right now. The other six -- 3rd year JT, JB, Smart, soph Rob, rookie Grant, and Theis as starting center lol. Brad Wanamaker was our freaking sixth man.

Wyc quietly deserves credit for multiple ownership moves. The only one I fault him for is clipping Trader Danny's wings after the Perk deal.

Indy gave us first the kid from French Lick (Larry Legend) and now Brad.

Will forever have a soft spot for all things Indiana (except for the NFL and their stitching during deflate gate)

He also extended Joe when the interim tag was removed in February 2023.

Brad saw the damage personal agendas and playing for contracts did back in 2018-19. Never again.
