VJ is insane.

We need a pick high enough to take him. He's the guy we need to pick.

I will predict he eventually moves up to #3 pick behind Flagg/Bailey....I think he has a big year in college

Woah, that kid can ball. That’s a really advanced handle for that size and age.

Prospects other than Copper which I'm very much intrigued by in no order.
1. Ace
2. Tre Johnson
3. Traore
4. VJ
5. Egor Demin
6. Hugo Gonzalez
7. Zirkarsky

By my estimate, we need to be top 8 bad which seems very likely. I like this class much, much more at the top and throughout. But we'll see.

Dylan Harper is going to go nuts this year. This draft is so deep, he is being forgotten.

Hugo Gonzales looks intriguing, smooth game but there's a seriousness to him, and he locks up

I like Bailey and he's a better fit for our roster but I have him currently behind VJ. Obviously he has elite physical traits and looks the part but I want to see how his game translates against more structured defenses in the half court. His handle is a little loose and while he's athletic I wouldn't exactly call him fluid. His pure ball skills right now are more at the level of a combo foward than a big wing creator.

Start focusing on names in the middle of the 1st rd, that’s where we’re headed.

Listen to the presser…these guys are gunning for the Play In, we’re not drafting in the top 10 unless we fluke into the top 4.

Relax. It won't be a fluke, it will be the lottery gods rewarding us for not sucking hard.

We are going to be a stealth tank team. We'll be like Atlanta last year.

There no point trying to out tank Brooklyn, Charlotte, Detroit etc. The bottom 5 will be impossible to get so we just going to take that 10th spot and move up into top 4.

Atlanta definitely did not stealth tank. They tried to win every game and were in the play in. They had an 11% chance at top 4 and 3% chance to go #1. I don’t think that is a sound strategy when there is an 89% chance at failure.

Sophomores - JT Toppin, Zvonimir Ivisic, Colin Murray-Boyles, and Dink Pate (I'm counting him as his 2nd year out of HS)

Blake Griffin went back for his sophomore season.

I think they may rise with good campaigns. Would be good choices in the teens. Even if the Raptors stayed healthy and rose up to the early 20's, one of those 4 should still be around.

Drake Powell is gonna go crazy at UNC this year.

It's crazy that he's ranked in the 10-15 range.

WE NEED A SECOND FIRST ROUND PICK!!!

Showed him lots of love in the OP

But you're right - he's being overlooked compared to the other top guys.

Rutgers are gonna be a force this season with Ace & Harper leading the pack.

I still REALLY like Pate in the top 10.

We’ll have to see if he’s in the same stratosphere as Ace but right now I still slightly favour him over Powell & Knox (who I both like a ton…if only VJ was a few inches taller to be a natural fit at SF buuuut I’d still take him probably over everyone I just named, we’ll see if Ace is as good).
