Pretty solid asset management...even if Deni is the best player among those options.

Excellent summer league for Bub Carrington. It was a solid trade for the Wizard and Avdija for all we know requested out.

How did we pass on this guy?

Trading back, drafting Clingan while getting other assets -- would have been an absolute masterstroke.

I think Landry chickened out and took the safe option instead.

Draft class was so ass, no sure why we need to spam these guys. Hawks needed to trade back or out of it altogether.

Better value wings to be had all throughout the top 20. Tyson has the deepest bag of all the wings, though I consider him a 2 guard. Oh well close the book on these dudes and try to get it together for the top 20 2025 prospects.

I was very impressed with Risacher. He may not have put up the stats because he let's the game come to him, but he has all the intangibles that will make him a can't miss player.

He has a feel for the game you can't teach. Quick decision maker with and without the ball from the wing is sorely needed on this team.

Trade the pick for a starter? At least debatable.

Trade back in the draft for "quantity over quality?" Will never happen.

I'm not understanding his reasoning with two backup bigs. Filip even projects to pf moreso than Sarr with his 6-10 wingspan.... Now trading back for Zac and Ware makes alot of sense not for two guys that very well could be backup centers.
Multiple starting caliber big men >>>> an unproven, undersized, underdeveloped project with potential.

One of the few highlights from a disappointing Hawks Summer League.

I'm glad we're giving him a shot on a 2-way contract. He gives me vibes of a young pat Beverly with a 3-pt shoot.

Since my Dion Glover SL experience back in the day....I remain skeptical until the real games start. I don't overly put too much stock in it nor do I discount it either. It is what it is.

Now THAT is a reference.

Trying to think back without cheating.

Glover was a SG we drafted in like...1999?
Injured his knee in college, so he fell in the draft.
Outta Georgia Tech.

Was that the Jumaine Jones, Cal Bowdler draft class?

Without looking I don't know. I just remember his SL was awesome.
On the flip side, I also remember Tim Duncan's SL (I was a fan since his Wake days) - he was awful.
So I just take SL for what it is without making definitive statements one way or the other and wait for the real season.

da Silva and Kel'el seem too good for Summer League already.

Excited to see what they can contribute as rookies.
