Re: pels and rockets
A couple comments.
- My interest in Ingram is pretty low, but at a rental price, it might be worthwhile.
- Swap Adams for Landale / Tate. Rockets have been targeting a burly big for some time, doubt they move him.
- What pick is this? Rockets have a Phoenix swap in 25, and nothing in 26, so it would have to be a swap of some sort. Obviously it would have to be heavily protected, probably top 14.

Re: pels and rockets
I think the Rockets are hoarding FRPs at the moment and would not be willing to extend him. They will need the space below apron once guys start getting extensions.

Re: pels and rockets
I honestly could not be less interested in Ingram if I tried, so my default answer to any trade suggestion that involves Ingram going to Houston is a big resounding no. Sorry.

Re: pels and rockets
Ingram isn't worth the max. Ingram isn't an All-NBA player. No and no. Nothing about him is appealing to the Rockets.

Re: pels and rockets
Rockets need to evaluate guys:
JalenG
Whitmore
Eason
Amen
Sheppard
Jabari and Sengun to a lesser extent.
Brooks, Vleet and Adams are known variables.
No reason to add Ingram when the prospects might surpass him shortly. And at low price in cash and picks.
By trade deadline they might be ready to make a move. Setup to get Booker and Ingram hurts that package.

Re: pels and rockets
I don't think the Rockets are super interested in Ingram in general as they need to figure out what they have in that batch of Tari Eason / Cam Whitmore / Amen Thompson who all need to play primarily 3 (at least defensively.) they also don't lack guys who needs ball in their hand players.
Just as a perception type of situation with player/agent I doubt teams would just trade for Ingram to dump, which this trade kind of ends up being. (i.e the primary incentive for the Rockets here is to get out of Brook's last 2 year, not to extend and play Ingram.) and also, given Brook's overall play and contract, I doubt they can't find a trade where they get out of him without attaching stuff, he's been a perfectly good starter and being paid like one for a position and role many team really needs. (and Also Houston don't need to do this, at worse they pay a little tax next year.)
