What a weird post. It was 1 year ago, surely you know how to tell time?

What’s even weirder is that you use a thread with two…two Knick fans choosing to keep iHart over Mitch (a choice driven solely by hard cap reasons), and spin them making the financial decision of trading Mitch for a future pick and cap space to do so, as saying he’s got zero value.

The weirdest thing is getting angry about fans wanting to keep their players. He may be prone to injury, but trading Randle for Allen (a point you conveniently ignore here) doesn’t solve anything or make sense. We’ll just get a backup for him another way, thanks…

Apologies 2 seasons ago, but maybe try reading the thread. No one would take Mitch for free, let alone give picks unless they were taking back dead money from a worse contract. This would indicate he doesn’t have value to anyone but the Knicks because he’s your only option but feel free to spin it however you want.

Tbf a lot of those people also think Hartenstein started ahead of Mitch, so they might not exactly be experts on Robinson’s impact when healthy…

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

I see you edited your post, but it’s still not 2 seasons ago. There’s only been 1 season played between the 2023 playoffs and the 2024 playoffs. You can refer to my last post responding to the rest… it’s not spin…

Go through this thread and you’ll understand Robinson doesn’t have much value. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2389255&hilit=Robinson+for+TPE

This would matter if we are basing value of players on random dudes on an internet message boards. Robinson has an extensive injury history. Sure. But when he's on the court he's a great shot blocker, a good defender, one of the best offensive rebounders in the league. Even with his injury history his contract is entirely reasonable and were it not for his injury history he'd be a bargain. We don't have to trade him nor should we trade him.

His injuries are a real thing which is why Knicks would be wise to trade for a center and no one seems to want him for a TPE.

So is his relatively inexpensive contract. So is his great offensive rebounding. So is his shotblocking and defense. All of those are real things which is why we didn't trade him for a TPE. The only reason we even considered it was we were thinking of ways to free up cash to sign Hartenstein while keeping our payroll to a certain level. That isn't a problem now and there is nothing on the market that we can replace Robinson with that replicates what he does let alone provides an upgrade at a good price point.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.
