Gotta point out he's in steady decline too, his ft percentage has gone down every single season.

And even more troubling is that his FG% has been dropping the last 3 seasons, he's not jumping like he used to.

His best season was 2021-22 (surprise, surprise when he played his career high in games), so the decline looks particularly bad with 2 back to back injured seasons.

He played 42 games in 2022-23 before he started experiencing knee pain. They should have operated then but everyone (incorrectly) decided to try rehab. Rehab didn’t work so that’s why he missed last season (he had surgery right before the start of last season). Had they had the surgery right away he could have been back last season. But he basically wasted 6 months. Current ETA is that he’ll be ready for the start of the 2024-2025 season.

He needs to lose some weight and bulk. IMO that’s what’s been contributing to his injuries.

I can't remember. Was the bulk added before the 21/22 season to address the prior season's injures? He definite looked bigger after this season's injury, but that's to be expected. I wonder if he has a targeted weight he's looking at for this offseason.

I'm pretty sure the Knicks will bring back Precious and role with Mitch/Precious/Randle at the 5

If it doesn't work, they will make a move. And if it does, then they still make a small move for depth, but [insert eye emoji]

Good question. Don’t recall. To me he just looks more stiff and lumbering from when he first came into the league. If the weight and mass gain was to address injury concerns it definitely hasn’t worked. To me it may be that he’s carrying too much weight and putting too much pressure on his feet, back, etc. I get that the Knicks would want him to be heavier than when we first entered the league but some bodies just can’t handle it.

Ok any reason any team should not be interested in Omer Yurtseven? Hes clearly the best pure C option left on the FA market. And he was already making vet minimum before being waived so he’s shown he’s ok with bare bones. Gotta be something.

Pretty agile for a 7 footer, positions well, competes, seems to have a very good feel for the game. Unless they don't see him as being any better than Sims?

His best month was January 2024...hopefully he can pick up where he left off.

Replacing RJ with OG has been very beneficial to Randle and the rest of the team. Thanks Leon!
