Brooklyn is in a deep rebuild and doesn’t care about DLo.
Definitely a no from them.

DLo isn't good but I don't think downgrading him even further helps the Lakers

Doesn't make sense for Lakers to get worse. They will be looking to add picks to improve.

Re: Lakers/Nets/Cavs
DLo for Schroeder straight up might make sense if the Lakers want to shave a couple mil of salary.
Maybe one of the teams cough up a second rounder.
No reason for the Nets to give up Sharpe unless a draft pick or prospect is coming back.

I'm not saying the Nets should give Sharpe away for free, but I wouldn't feign that he has any real value around the league.

Centers typically time have much trade value, so you might not be wrong, but the Nets are giving up the two best players in this deal - one of which is young enough to be part of their long-term rebuilding plans...

Two best? Schroder and Russell are probably similar-ish in value. Ultimately, it probably comes down to fit which is preferred. A backup C with 12 career starts and averaged 13 MPG in his career on an expiring contact doesn't have much value. I'll be honest, I think you have a hard enough time arguing he's not the least valuable piece in this trade.

Re: Lakers/Nets/Cavs
Easy no from Brooklyn, find a different 3rd team to give CLE a productive young backup C, and take on salary for a similar expiring PG
