Another older undersized guard signing by Morey lol. Oh well, at least he has championship experience, I guess. We easily have to have the shortest backcourt in the NBA.

Might dust off my Jordan 5's and run a few suicides at this point. I may still have a chance.

He's the last guy I would have expected us to sign. Can we just keep current Maxey and Embiid and travel back like 8 years with Gordon, Lowry, Jackson, and Paul George?

TBH if Morey had wanted another vet minimum point guard, which I think most of us assume we don't need, it seems weird that we wouldn't have just re-signed Cam Payne.

Reggie Jackson is going to make George Hill look like he was in his prime when he played here. Sigh….

Reggie has a ton of playoff experience. I probably would've kept Payne, but I can see getting some experience.

I know it's the off season and everyone is looking for ... anything ... to talk about, but the amount of obsessing over end of the bench signings that are probably more targeted as trade filler with KJ than anything else is kind of comical.

If it ever comes to Reggie Jackson or Marcus Morris (if/when he's signed) getting serious minutes in meaningful games, then this season will clearly not be going the way we hoped it would go.

Didn’t realize BIG GOVERNMENT has a 7 foot wingspan! He can defend SG or SF no problem!!!

Why can’t he start with Maxey?

I think having Reggie Jackson and Tyrese Maxey at our backcourt to start the game will be good for our dribble drive offense.

Still has some juice with quarterback skills. Totally capable of running the 2nd unit (and first at times).

Now go get a PF.

I kind of wonder if these small guards is Morey’s doing or if Nurse is trying to recreate his Toronto backcourts with Lowry and Van Vleet (plus a bunch of interchangeable wings and one big). It gives you a lot of optionality to have either guard able to initiate and score at multiple levels. Problem is both Lowry and FVV were above average defenders for their size.

Maxey gonna be a plus defender lol I ain't worry about that with his production . Big gov has a 7 ft wingspan . Lowry and fvv don't ..

Montrezl Harrell also had a huge wingspan, but when he played for us he was cooked beyond recognition...Reggie Jackson looks better but two years ago when Denver won the championship he played an average of 3 minutes per game in the playoffs. Last year he played 10 minutes per game, but scored only 3.5 points per game in the playoffs. Does not look that good, except if we brought him for his defense.

I believe Nurse's offensive scheme requires two guards, as that's typical for most dribble-drive offenses. I don't think having Oubre or Caleb Martin at shooting guard would effectively create gaps in the opponent's defense. Maybe they can but Reggie Jackson seem to be better at against more match-ups on paper.

I don't think he's that strict in his system. He won a title starting Danny Green at the 2 after all.

George is a good ball handler also.

I just think they see Reggie as good value at the minimum and they'll figure it out.

Yeah, good point. I think its just another tool he can use, if our wings have a hard time to get create holes on the dribble drives.

It’s nice to see us have some depth & options for once. Reggie is another guard that gives us additional lineup options. We’re way better equipped to handle injuries, stylistic shifts, and the shooting ruts from our role players.

We’re no longer locked into 1-2 lineups during the playoffs because we have a deep, talented, and experienced roster plus a few young guys that have a chance to blow up over the course of the year.
