Rui and Gabe Vincent, 1rd pick for BB. Gives them 5 mil under the apron and they use mle to sign another rotation player. Both players are trade able players too. Win win for everyone.

I would only do this if I could immediately flip Rui and Gabe.

Sure. Anything. BB is not going to net us a home run. It’s time to take anything and move on. He is a declining asset.

How many 5 team trades have there been in nba history.

I believe GM's refer to this as a diarrhea trade.

lakers are over the 2nd apron so they can't combine salaries. they can only send out 1 player at a time.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but this is false. Lebron took a 3 mill paycut to keep them under second apron....

you're right - i mistook 1st apron with 2nd. i think they're like $100K under the 2nd apron right now.

I’m down for anything that results in a FRP from LAL, anything else is just a waste of time we don’t need Rui/trying to improve the roster this season.

That’s an insanely non sensical trade. Clippers and Nets could just trade with each other and cut everyone out. Magic don’t need Russell either

It would be dumb for them to give up a 1st for Brown, their scraps prolly don't get it done for the raps and it seems like bad value for Dlo

Hachimura works straight up for Brown.

Congratulations on a successful trade!

Due to Toronto being under the cap and choosing to invoke the Cap Room rule, Toronto could not go over the cap by more than $100,000 of post-trade Team Salary, which did happen here. Also, Toronto met the requirements of the Hard Cap rules of staying under the Tax Threshold plus $4M for adjusted post-trade Team Salary.

Due to the L.A. Lakers being under the cap and choosing to invoke the Cap Room rule, the L.A. Lakers could not go over the cap by more than $100,000 of post-trade Team Salary, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

It sends the Lakers over the second apron. We would have to take back one of Vanderbilt or Vincent.

i think LAL might also be interested in shedding salary, to make room for a vet min buyout addition. they always add talent this way.

The obvious trade is DLo + stuff involving a 3rd team

The second trade is Gabe + Rui + Jalen Hood + 2nd for Brown + Boucher. LA will become free agency players again next offseason, once all of Brown/DLo/Boucher expire.

i'd do bruce for three 2nds and an optional 1st round pick swap in 2026 between LAL pick and TOR+IND picks (if indy finishes w better record could be nice), lebron isn't eternal. didn't even look at their contracts i'm assuming they have an expiring to throw in.

Raps take that and run, I think. We win a fair bit more this year though… imo anyway. Plus we have longer term salary, but if we’re cool with that - it makes sense.

That said, I still prefer wiggins.

Rui and Gabe vs Brown isn’t that big of a difference.

Brown is the best player in that deal - but you take the pick and run, and hope Rui breaks out.

For sure. We do it for the pick.

My feeling is that our depth improves as a result. I think Vincent could be decent after his year in recovery.

The Lakers don't have anything valuable to offer. I'd hold onto him and give him the starting position. Maybe he performs and fits great with our starting line up after a full training camp.

We'd raise Brown's value and see what we have in our prospects. I'm going to predict Mitchell and Dick both deserve the starting role once Brown is gone.

Id personally give the edge to Mitchell if we perform better, and we could go for a playoff berth.
