Last year he played 10 minutes per game, but scored only 3.5 points per game in the playoffs. Does not look that good, except if we brought him for his defense.

Don’t love the signing but he’s like our 13th man, 10mpg in the PO for a contender seems pretty good.

It's a good signing. Especially for the minimum. There are going to be times when both Embiid and Maxey are off the floor at the same time. The team is going to have to score somehow.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Yeah I don't hate the signing at all. Jackson can score, Gordon can score, Lowry can run an offense. Our bench has been getting worked over the last few years whenever Jo sits. We tried to combat that by keeping Maxey out there and we ended up running him into the ground. Jackson, Lowry, Gordon... Collectively they keep Maxey fresh and they keep the offense flowing. Add Drummond to the list as well. It's honestly a pretty good bench unit.

Ehh i don't know, he's good to be a 3rd string guard, but we need some athleticism, size and lenght on the wing more than another guard.

I was hoping we could land Achiouwa.

That would be great, but how do you propose that it happen? The Knicks need another big man besides Robinson, Achiuwa is from NY, the Knicks own his Bird rights... and he could only sign here for the minimum. Why would or should he do that? Presumably the Knicks are gonna keep him, S&T him, or sign him so that he can be traded later. Who are some realistic big men?

Reggie move is like adding a more talented scoring Pat beverly with elite length. Great move. I think he starts point guard. So Maxey can go crazy as a scorer.

I always had respect for Reggie.

Say what you want about his fleeting effectiveness, but dude is mad confident. His inner confidence leads to some big moments in opportune times. Ef it, that's the type of guy you want for the playoffs.

Bonus points because he plays in prescription goggles. You want a guy like that.

Hopefully he becomes Mr. June.

I like the addition. We don't need to overthink this. Reggie is a depth signing and regular season filler. He'll contribute the same way Marcus Morris and Patrick Beverly contributed for us last year.

He's talented but he's kind of a ballhog, low IQ, not really winning player.

There is nights when his shot Is falling and his PnR game opens up where he can really give you an offensive plus. Specially against low calibeer teams. Defensively he has solid tools but he's not a plus defender, average at best if he's engaged. He's a really inconsistent player.

For the minimum as a 12 Man he's a good signing. He gives you valuable depth for a long regular season.

He shouldn't be anywhere close to be a permanent starter in the RS or an important part of the rotation in the Playoffs if we want to be a serious contender.
