I don't want any players injured; but don't you want a high pick? You don't get high picks with pleasantly watchable teams.

I’m more concerned about the 25/26 season if we’re actually trying to compete. Olynyk’s taking up a lot of cap space for a useless player.

He looked more engaged as the game gone on but still lack of flow with him on the court, hopefully that will come with more rep with the team. He is a notorious slow starter, just who he is, not an excuse but he had several issues go against him going into this tournament lets give him some time. SGA and Murray is not a natural fit so as SGA is our #1 Murray's game will suffer. He might just be reduced to be a spot up shooter.

He'll be expiring. Possibly good in a trade and definitely fit for the Thad role. $13,5M not too bad.

It's a bad matchup for him, and he isn't running anything off the high post like he usually does, hopefully he plays better next game.

We are in 3rd gear, that's how I look at this game and despite that and the horrible officiating, we won. Good sign

Ya thats fine if that's why you want to proceed with Olynyk as the backup C. There are a bunch of people here who think him at C is a good basketball decision lol.

Is there really? The only reason to give Kelly minutes as the primarily backup C is to throw games. Most people recognize the need to pair him with a rim protector type. Thought it was a pretty universally held belief around here.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Issue with Murray wasn’t lack of effort, ego, etc. He looks injured. It’s one thing to be rusty offensively but we can’t have scrubs blowing by him on defense.

I'd say he's a good basketball decision considering the stage the team is at. He's 33 and has never been a great defender. Fans gotta be realistic at this time in his career. He's a vet with high bball IQ which hopefully benefits the locker room vibes. But I'm not worried about wins hah.

I wish more people were that logical but I've had numerous posts where I had to mention what you just said and others respond with "basketball reference shows he's played majority of his career at Center so that means he's a Center."

I mean, bench played like hot poo poo and we still won. I'm not sure they can play worse offensively or defensively, so they should be better at the tournament moves along.

I have to shout out Dort. Straight menace out there. Ridiculous motor.

He showed his compete level when the Greek big tried backing him up and bullying him. Unfortunately, he just doesn't look 100%.

Murray is a good post defender, but hopefully Jodi won't fall into the trap of letting him soft switch on bigs because at the end he's still only 6'4, bigger guys with legit post moves will punish this matchup 9 times out of 10

bench needs to step up on both ends. Murray needs to step up. It's like as soon as SGA is on bench, our lead shrank.

This is a Greece team with Giannis, and lights out 3pt shooters, which is a perfect match. They will probably beat Spain. No shame in the result at all.

Remember, even though we got less of a point differential in the win than we hoped for, the same will probably be true for the other teams in the group when they play Greece. Are point differential will be all good in the end.

When has Kelly often shared the floor with another rim protector? You'd have to go back to his Miami days when he shared the floor with Bam but even then he spent less than half his minutes with Bam on the floor.
