They are trying to piss off the Celtics by playing Tatum and Brown the same minutes lol

Good thing we have two other Celtics on the team who are important, to cheer for.

Kerr needs to put Tatum in for garbage time. Make him breaks a sweat for nothing.

Think the problem is, he's not elite at anything. He's a plus defender, a plus shooter, and plus scorer and that's about it. All round he's an elite player, but maybe that's not the fit that Kerr wants. Tatum does not have one elite skill.

As much as I don't like Tatum's game, I'm also surprised he's not played.

Here's ANT doing the dmx suck it, which Embiid has patented, and ANT did as well during the post season. As usual, the fans hate on a player that most of the actual players don't have an issue with.

Read on Twitter

Ant’s middle school reaction is ‘what America is about’ (which Embiid also loves to do) is evidence of why the country is f’ed

Grow the f up Embiid and Ant.

JT mostly played like dog **** in the tune up games after the first one. Not really surprised by this.

Last Olympics. You forgetting that they have Wemby lmao

Serbia finished 2nd at the world cup, France 18th. France added Wemby but Serbia added Jokic. Perhaps France will play better, I'm just saying they have done nothing to show that.

You’re using logic and intelligence that might be too much for his “trust me bro” logic.

How does it feel to be constantly wrong? Lmao. And yes, Wemby is all the difference

US Shot making has just been ridiculous this game and a lot of this scoring is not being done with too much ball movement, probably don't want to be relying on needing this kind of effort again.

Why? Tatum only plays when the minutes aren’t important or if there is an injury.

Tatum and Hali had the worse +/- in the exhibition games. Too many close calls in the friendlies. They were clearly the weakest links and now with KD back there really is no room for Tatum. Good news is KD Lebron will most likely not be coming back to these events. So going forward he “should” be fine.

Step throughs are legal in all levels of basketball.

As an American, that looked like an illegal step through as he picked up the pivot foot before the start of his jump.

You can pick up your pivot as long as you release the ball before it hits the ground again, it's like that in every level of basketball. It looks like a travel because people don't do it that often, but Ant has been doing it in the NBA and pivoting like a madman the last year or so.

He’s just not the best player, simple as that. Giannis was never in question as best player on the court vs Canada, he was by far the best of either team. You were just putting the Serbian team in the same sentence yesterday and I told you that they sucked. You’re always wrong lmao

Comparing Canada to the USA frontline is a joke. Can you be more dishonest than that.

Are you serious rn? Greece is way worse in supporting cast than Serbia. Quit the excuses lmao.

Again let’s compare Canada’s front court vs the US. Giannis got his because of the weak front court he was facing. Also Serbia beat this same Canadian team last year without Jokic. What did France do?

It was adressed, no he is not, but this is the KD and LBJ olympic farewell tour, Tatum is #3 on the depth chart as extra insurance. Kerr and Spo will give him some garbage time minutes and that's about it.

Booker is starting at the 3 spot. There's no way he's a better option than Tatum as a 3 and d wing when Lebron, Steph, and Embiid are dominating the ball.

Thanks for clarifying.

I think it puts him in a weird spot...last time I recall this happening was Harrison Barnes almost a decade ago and Tatum is twice the player of Barnes. Hopefully he's cool with all of this.

I don't really get who Tatum is supposed to replace in the context of the archetypes on this team.

Tatum not playing for Booker or getting KD minutes is insane -

If he ain’t sick he should just go home -

If I were Tatum I would text Kerr a pic of me and brown and ask if he mad that we got the trophy and tell him it’s over in GS….
