Calm down dude, he wasn't going to get mins with Durant, LBJ, and Curry. This is like a redshirt year for him and Hail. They are the future if they want it.

There are minutes to be had outside those 3. Booker playing over Tatum is silly.

Not really. Book is a sharpshooter that doesn't need the ball in his hands to get in a rhythm & be effective.

Point differential is very important in the tournament, all teams are playing hard until the last second.

Again tho, why? Tatum isnt irreplaceable like a Lebron/KD. He's a strong star, but he's not someone you bend over backwards for. 4 years from now, youre gonna be able to get guys like Paolo/Barnes/Flagg/Zion/Mobley in their primes. If Tatum isnt gonna give you the best chance to win today and its gonna effect his commitment moving forward, then he was never a guy you wanted. This is about the team first and foremost and everyone has to get in line.

They had multiple exhibition games and Hali/Tatum proved to be the weak links. Is the coaching staff supposed to ignore this and put a worse product on the floor as an appeasement?

Tatum struggled with his shot, but he is one of the best defenders on the team. He can pretty much guard every position. Pop always understood this. Kerr has no idea how to use Tatum. Not using one your most versatile stars is bad coaching. Whatever, though, I doubt Kerr will be coaching in 2028 anyway.

No one is saying bend over for Tatum, but it shows a lack of creativity that you can’t find time for your best wing defender, lol. I’m fine with this being a farewell tour for LeBron, Durant, and Curry, but outside that, eh.

Ιt's not just that, the NBA is too many games, waaay too many games. Which was fine, until the best players realised that it's ok to not play a third of them.

There are minutes to be had outside those 3. Booker playing over Tatum is silly. When has there been a situation where the second option from the previous gold medal team got no run at all on the very next team? It’s not a good look.

Red shirt year makes no sense for Tatum, he was the #2 option on the gold medal team 4 years ago

Pretty convincing win against an elite team. US next two games are against patsies so they won’t be tested again until the the QF round.

Beat down. Expected KD and Lebron were gods out there. No one is beating this team

Can’t wait to hear what bill Simmons says about Tatum being benched. He’s been on his **** all year, especially after the playoffs.

Embiid should sit in favor of Davis and Adebayo. His play was bad, but his lack of effort and nonchalance are what stood out to me.

In the end Serbia don't have enough talent to match and hang with it the US.

He’ll remind you of that 10-2 start for Serbia and disappear until the US struggles again.

It’s crazy how great LeBron and KD still are. Especially KD due to his injuries.

Mad at what? Wiggins locked him up and Tatum basically didn’t show up lol, Kerr should be thanking him if anything

Booker from his form, and explosiveness is probably known as a better shooter and scorer, althouth the numbers don't say the same. Mostly based on rep.

It’s extremely disrespectful how USA handled this. The Jaylen Brown thing too. JB would’ve feasted in international play. I wouldn’t be surprised if JT didn’t come back

Good. These teams aren’t about one player. If you’re gonna get pissed about touches and minutes (and I don’t think he will) then take your ass home.

Tatum is a top 6 player in the league and he's relegated to waterboy/cheerleading? That's messed up man.
