Thanks for the reply, but I need clarification. When you say his girl are you referring to the adult lady in the picture and not the baby? Is this his partner and do they have some kind of commitment to each other? I just really hope for Ant's sake that he is done with the baby mama days. He has a lot to ask forgiveness for. Seems like she has forgiven him so far.

I assumed it was obvious its his kid. So I'm referring to the woman he's been with for a few years.

I thought so. I just wanted to be sure.

I think France will beat us. Hate to say it.

Don't think so, France with a Chris Paul or Tony Parker at his prime will have a chance or with Mike! Playing with no good PG will kill them. Wemby will score a lot, but Rudy has the limitations we know. Unless Fournier or Batum get's on fire, i see us max in semi-final.

I can't believe this is Curry's first Olympic. With him, LBJ, and KD, it should be a cakewalk to the Gold.

Didn't France won the game? I haven't watched it yet but Wemby to Gobert should be a fairly easy pass to make.

Yes we play much better defense in 2 and 3r quarter. Batum and Wemby carry the team. Was the bas version of Rudy offensively....TO the ball almost each time he got it in hands, but he did his job defensively.

Kerr has had it out for Ant since he came into the league. He should be starting and definitely coming in before Booker

Ant seems energized by playing with KD.

I haven't watched the game but just looked at the box score. Seems like Ant was basically playing as the scorer instead of the facilitator. I think that is really his DNA and mindset. All the more reason we need a good PG. It's too bad Jones went to Suns maybe we get Monte back now that he won't have much play time :D

I was watching women’s table tennis, and they told a story how Lily Zhang wanted to meet Anthony Edwards. She ran into him on the boat in opening ceremonies, and Ant being Ant, he challenged her to a game, saying there was no way she’d beat him 11-0.

I thought this was an interesting analysis:

I’ve watched most of France’s games the last two summers — Eurobasket, World Cup — and it’s been really interesting to see how everyone’s role has changed once they put Wemby on the top of the roster.

Like, this game today was a good example, I thought. To me, France was very clearly a Fournier-Gobert team the last two summers, in that they often ran offense with both bigs at the elbows and got to that Fournier-Gobert pick and roll/DHO often — and the role players, like Yabusele/Batum/De Colo, would often get going playing off that. But now this team looks like a Wemby-Batum team. It’s a more spread floor look, seeking easy buckets or isolation opportunities for Wemby. It makes sense that a high, high-level 3+D guy like Batum would thrive in that. Gobert and Fournier settle more into firmly role player roles — which will be interesting to get a better look at in games where Gobert isn’t in foul trouble.
