Cool. About a month later than I thought it would happen but congrats to the kid.

Adamczewski played 2B and Bitonti played 3B. Both killed it this season.

Season's not over for either. Both dudes were promoted to Carolina.

Misiorowski came out early last night. 60 pitches, wasn't in trouble. Had kind of a weird reaction on the mound where it looked like he was getting congratulations. Would figure if he were being traded we would have heard about it by now. I don't think you take a guy out early if he's getting a promotion to AAA.

All around a little strange.

GD, I hope he isn't traded.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Think he has a shot to make it this year if pitches well or most likely next season?

I think he could be really good at getting outs right now.

One current issue is impending 40 man crunch, a result of having to use so many different pitchers. The other (maybe bigger) issue is he's still got command issues. It was looking better for a while, but he had some rough outings before the promotion. He's still striking guys out and no one hits him, but walks and HBP are a problem.

If the 40 man issues are resolved and the Brewers want to bring up some pitching that can actually help, Craig Yoho and Shane Smith are probably better options.

Post deadline, late season top 20:

1 - Jeferson Quero
2 - Cooper Pratt
3 - Robert Gasser
4 - Jacob Misiorowski
5 - Tyler Black
6 - Brock Wilken
7 - Mike Boeve
8 - Yophery Rodriguez
9 - Logan Henderson
10 - Luke Adams
11 - K.C. Hunt
12 - Shane Smith
13 - Craig Yoho
14 - Eric Bitonti
15 - Jesus Made
16 - Josh Knoth
17 - Brett Wichrowski
18 - Carlos F. Rodriguez
19 - Jose Anderson
20 - Jadher Areianmo

Don't know if it's good or bad that I couldn't justify any of their signed draft picks in the top 20.

My gut is Miso ends up a reliever, which would put his proper rank closer to Yoho.

I hope they give Black a regular role as a super-utility man but my guess is he's traded.

Honestly excited about the pitching we could see in Milwaukee next season. Miso, Henderson, Hunt, Smith, and Yoho should all be on the staff at some point.

The most exciting bats are all at the lowest levels. Some are never gonna make it, but right now it's fun to dream on Made, Anderson, Bitonti, Adams, and a few more.

I want to see Black get more MLB AB's before we bail on him.

If Levonas indeed decides not to sign I will be very interested to track his career. Far be it from me to criticize someone for choosing college, especially not knowing anything about his situation, but not many guys who are looking to be a professional baseball player would bypass what I'm assuming is an offer well over $2 million. The risk/reward just isn't there, especially as a pitcher.

Interesting that we're not the only team in this situation.

Saw the 11th rd pick, Caedmon Parker, has opted to NOT sign and return to TCU per his X account.

Hoping for an unexpected bunch of signings today. So far it looks like only

Tyson Hardin (12)
Joey Broughton (13)
Travis Smith (15)

have signed. Last year 7 of their 10 day three selections signed and they went exactly up to the 5% over pool amount they were allowed.

Same. With some guys like Ortiz, Turang cooling off sure would be nice to have a hitter to plug-in to spell them a bit. I think Black’s defensive question marks is preventing him from taking Monasterio gig. If Black could even play 3B, which I thought he did, could get AB’s there and 1B. Ortiz could occasionally give Turang a breather. But I get wanting to get Black regular AB’s too. If Hoskins opts out, unlikely I feel, maybe opens the doir next year for Black.

But also get wanting to move while has top 50 prospect status vs flaming out. He hasn’t exactly tore up his limited MLB chances.
