GSW-NOP-PHO-POR Trade

Post#1 » by rambo_ortega » Mon Jul 29, 2024 8:33 pm

Warriors Get:
Bradley Beal

They get Klay's replacement.

Curry/Podz/Beal/Green/TJD

Pelicans Get:
Jerami Grant
Rob Williams

They become a stronger and better defensive team with this trade.

Murray/CJ/Grant/Zion/Timelord

Suns Get:
Brandon Ingram
Jordan Hawkins
Kevon Looney

They get a KD clone and a legit SF instead of having 2 SGs then some front court help.

Jones/Booker/Ingram/KD/Nurkic

Blazers Get:
Andrew Wiggins
Jonathan Kuminga

They get a young SF that fits their timeline.

PHX gets off Beal (with NTC) and gets solid talent?

GS obviously pass, very quickly.

However, I would be seriously impressed if this worked out financially in real life. That’s a lot of players swapping teams and no picks or extras added in anywhere to make it work.

I think if the GSW wanted to throw $50 M at a SG they would gave it to KT.

I mean this deal is obviously terrible for GS on value, but let’s not overlook the fact that it’s also nowhere close to CBA compliant.

Yeah, it doesn't. We currently have about $500k in space under the hard cap; this deal would add about $8M to our payroll even before you account for the 2 empty roster charges (because we'd only have 12 players under contract).

Not a good return at all for GSW. Beal brings so little to the table.

Dubs are not as dumb as the Suns to gut their team for an over rated and past his prime Beal. Plays zero defense and is not the shooter he once was.

He does bring that NTC and plenty of DNP.
