apparently he had other offers but he wanted to play with Dame again.

this is definitely a prove-it deal. He'll get exposure and arguably a much better position to succeed there than here. There really isn't much competition for minutes in Milwaukee, and he'll get lots of open looks created by Lillard and Giannis. There's a real chance he just looks like generic SG #69 here that doesn't really stand out from someone like Tre Mann.

We still need to tank for 1 more season. I think I'm falling in love with Egor Demin.

Looks like another LaMelo Ball clone. Imagine those 2 playmaking in the backcourt together. He's a 6'9 PG btw. :o

Let's tank baby!

I've lost track. Does this leave us with an open roster spot?

We now have 1 roster spot. -- a defensive wing makes the most sense if they can find one.

Unofficially we only have 1 two way guy signed right now in KJ Simpson, presumed Leaky is back on a two way though.
Leaves one two way roster spot unaccounted for as well.

Everyone wants him, until they see the package he was traded for... which will be absurd like 4 firsts, 1 young player and a few swaps or 2nds... or 3 firsts and 2 young players plus filler...

Really no purpose in getting wrapped up in thinking about it unless you are willing to empty the cupboard for him.

Just heard Big Pat, the PA announcer passed away.
I haven't seen anything public on this yet. He was going to be announcing a wedding next week in NY a friend was going to.

Damn. That's really tough news. He was a Hornets legend.

Well I guess I’ve been about as lazy as our some in our front office, not looking out there much for a reserve center to add to the stable. Since the chatter regarding Mark Williams contained more projected hope than certainty, I’d feel better if we had a plan C.

Orlando Robinson played pretty well for the Rockets in SL, put up 14.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game but was waived July 7th by the heat. Alas, the Kings signed him to a one year deal July 24th. He’s a 2 year experienced 7 footer. A little surprised we didn’t try to sign him (or maybe we did and he chose a better opportunity).
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Marques Bolden proved last year that you can be a nobody buried in the D-League and still be roughly as good as Nick Richards, so this is a good opportunity for just about any 6'11 guy with a pulse to play his way into an NBA rotation

Can we please ditch this narrative, even ignoring that the specific issue being complained of was proven wrong almost as soon as it was voiced?

Calling our FO lazy after what transpired the last 5 months doesn't make a lot of sense.

I know, I know…I was just laying down some thorns on the yellow brick road, cause it does seem like we can never optimize all elements of an off-season. They’ve done pretty well, but not impressed with this last slot filler.
