Precious is back on a 1 year 6mil deal? He couldn't get anything better elsewhere? It's able to be traded right before the TDL so, that's what the logical outcome will be. Really weird. I guess they couldn't find a deal they liked using his salary this summer.

Welcome back.

We have 7.6mil(?) left to spend under the 2nd apron.

The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that paying Randle more than OG money will be a mistake that dooms the best years of Brunson -mikal-hart-ddv-OG

Yeah but Randle is better than OG…. So I don’t know how that would work.

4/190 is the only acceptable contract for randle.

anything more is a risk that absolutely torpedos us long term. a 35% max contract for Randle needs to be ruled out ofd the question.

people mistake that randle is only valuable to US, and always has been. there is a reason why no one else in the league seems to regard randle nearly as well as the knicks do.

randle is better at what?

putting up high volume production at mediocre efficiency while having 1 or 2 nice passes a game that are completely neutralized by 3 god awful turnovers?

Jock Landale looked like a poor man's iHart today against Canada. I never paid him much attention before but looked like a decent back-up C to me, today. Not sure if he'd still fit now with Precious back or how to get him.

Give Randle his props. He is a 2 time all NBA, & a multiple all star player who came here as a journey man and for a whole season was the entire offense. I am not saying OG is a bad player, but Randle is a better one.

Yooooo Begley says no movement on Randle extension . Very interesting. I still don't think Knicks plan on him playing out the deal and lose him for nothing. We will see.

i’m almost willing to bet the house he re-signs, whether or not it’s team friendly we shall see, but there’s been no indication from either randle’s side or the knicks that there’s friction or unhappiness. quite the opposite honestly

None of the most important accomplishments over the last 2 seasons were because of Randle.

They were accomplished in spite of him.

give post rj randle a chance. it was clear those 2 got in each others way, he was a different player after the og trade. looks like they’re both benefiting from being split up honestly. rj ain’t doing too bad for himself back home either

We have evidence that it works. Randle and Brunson are going to carve defenses up next year. OG is an essential part of the team, but Randle deserves his respect.

Do we see Precious as our backup C or another PF?

Yes.,..or no. They have to sign at least one more player to fill out the roster. They have around 7.5 mil left.
