South Sudan's JT has 50% more points than the USA's JT.

I'd rather JT come off the bench and Edwards start so JT can play with his guys and Bam.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Hopefully Tatum is okay. He is holding his high for awhile.

So Kerr's squeezing 11 players in today? Everyone but Embiid?

Maybe a relief for Kerr if he comes up a bit lame?

Dwhite and Jrue just taking turns giving Bam easy looks all game. Spo will be in full sabotage mode within the hour because Bam wants to wear green instead of pink and teal for his career.

Kerr letting Steph embarrass himself out there.

Kerr keeps talking about what's best for the team and yet he allows Steph to be a defensive liabilty out there.

Coach clearly playing favorites.

What else does the whole NBA community have to talk about? The idea that either of the Jays hasn't received sufficient adulation and accolades is preposterous.

This is not about the Jays.

2 players got benched against Serbia and only JT got the attention of the fans and the media.

Kerr himself already admitted he regretted not playing JT.

So clearly a mistake was made by the coach because the coach ended up disrespecting Tatum.

Kerr didn't admit that he regretted it.

Didn't Kerr say he felt like an idiot for not playing Tatum?

Lol. Tatum is our franchise player. Nobody on that team wants to get zero mins. Hali is a young player and White is a role player. If you think that its no big deal getting benched infront of your friends and family, then you probably haven’t played any competitive sports in your life.

Gimme a break. I played for the Latvia national rugby union team. While it sucks to get benched, you take it on the chin and move on.

Scorekeeper doesn't know how to count. White had at least 3 blocks on top of his 3 steals.

That was just in acknowledging that JT has been All-NBA the last three years, saying he felt like an idiot for making that choice--while explaining why he made that choice. That's not at all regret, that's trying to smooth over possible hurt feelings for his decision.

Just checked the box score and Steph got the 2nd most minutes in the game against South Sudan.

If it's true Kerr is all about what's best for the team then Steph should not be getting that many minutes because besides shooting poorly, he's also a big defensive liability.

Steph got beat by his man numerous times.

There you go.

The thing is there should be no hurt feelings because the game was a blowout.

Kerr playing favorites is the problem.

Steph and Lebron should not have been playing in garbage time.

These are grown men playing in the Olympics. Sitting for one game, especially when you've been shooting poorly for months, shouldn't be seen as disrespectful or cause boo-boo feelings.

Point differential matters in the Olympics. So there's basically no such thing as garbage time
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

66 points for the USA bench to 14 for So Sudan's bench. That means So Sudan's starters outscored the USA's starters 72-37.

What the Odds that the Media at least steps up and asks Kerr about Curry and his struggles and yet he keeps starting and getting top minutes??

or ask Kerr if he believes in double standards??

F Kerr..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..
