I genuinely don't care if he doesn't play, more concern about his knee being an issue, which has prevented him. As some have said, I've soured on the upcoming season with his performance here. Just doesn't look this same, although I know the ramp up stuff is really, it's just deflating.

I’m not.

This is Biid in a system that doesn’t revolve around him with a whole new team AND during his normal ramp up period coming off an injury

Him looking bad is to be expected imo

I will only worry if it continues into the actual season

Well that's my worry lol.

Also with all those factors he shouldn't have played then.

Link?

Also, he's always said he's fine though, remember. He said he was fine in the playoffs, and then he admitted on the Drew Hanlen pod that he shoulnd't have played.

I don't GAF about the Olympics and how he looks there. My concern is only his health and mindset and how it will hopefully change, or at least evolve (to use a pseudo-intellectual 'today' term) and understand that winning a championship requires a different approach with regard to how he can most effectively help this team take the next step now that he finally has a supporting cast.

Agreed, that SS team may be the most athletic team in the tournament

It's still early, but I've genuinely liked how the Olympics have played out for Joel.

I've always thought the 6ers needed less offense and more defense from him to win an NBA championship. But that takes 2 things. A) The front office acquiring enough offensive talent and B) A change in Joel's mentality.

Well, the front office came through earlier this offseason and now, with these Olympics we are (hopefully) going to see Joel learn how to fit into a team instead of trying to be the whole team.

He just doesnt get it.

All the signs are there, hes more of a Harden than a LBJ, MJ or Kobe.

I mean he's trolling, and the crowd are being a bunch of ****. WOuld have been great if he didn't miss, but him doing this, actually shows that this doesn't get to him, and he does a good job using it as motivation. If this were Ben Simmons he would have posted a 1-2 point line. When you have a whole stadium booing you, you have to give it back to them.

I'd love to see your emotional reaction when a crowd of 20,000+ boos you. He did it with 4 seconds left on the clock, he was trolling, which is what he's done his whole career.

None of those players EVER taunted a hostile crowd before? That's news to me.
