Yes! Trading away youth and picks right now is drunk GMing. Fortunately they havent done that so far.

Win was never in doubt but the second half was really poor.

Lol what?
As long as he can dribble and shoot he will be a threat. I don't see a decline anytime soon.

Soft showing by USA, they had to send a message here.

Bam looks amazing. What pieces can the Heat put together to make a legit run?

Lebron, KD, AD, Bam, White, Holiday and maybe Booker have been outstanding.
I was skeptical when they announced the team at first, but seeing these players together in a non-allstar setting is such a treat!

I'd rather watch 3x3 than a lot of Olympic sports, but the team that USA sent is not good.

His basketball IQ is really low. All last season, he looked totally lost on defense in EuroLeague with Partizan. It was a very strange fit with him and Obradovic.

Stop putting people in the booth just cause they're stars or recognizable names. It really seems like the TV networks have all universally lowered their standards for commentary when before it at least appeared like there was an audition process
I've literally read people commenting on how great and refreshing Wade is at being an analyst.
I've watched three games so far where Wade was doing commentary and his making fun of the names of non - US players is ignorant, xenophobic and just downright ridiculous. Over and over again he's just outright making fun of and mocking the last names of the non US players. He did it a lot in the US - Serbia, Greece - Canada, and Greece - Spain games.
It's ridiculous to have someone doing that during the game broadcasts.

No matter how bad Curry looks, he is always a split second from hitting 4-5 3’s in a row and completely blowing the doors off a team.

With all due respect I'm tired of beating Serbia. It's clear we are just better. Would love to see a more competitive matchup.
Better than any other so I don’t think it really matters at this point. Unless they take games for granted. No one is beating this team.

Booker definitely.
Holiday
Booker | White
LeBron
KD | Bam
Davis
That 7-man lineup would demolish teams in FIBA and they'd only need to each play 28.5mpg.

I don't doubt it can be entertaining.
My question is more like why does this exist as an event showcasing the best in the world? Like clearly the 3 players on each team are not anywhere near the best in their country, as the best of countries are playing 5x5.
If this was KD, Bron, and AD playing, then I would get it. But Jimmer Fredette and randoms?
What's the point of winning this gold medal, is my question? Bragging rights? About...what? "Hey, I won the olympic gold in 3x3 basketball.
Not hating at all btw, I don't care they're doing this and I'm actually watching right now. Its cool.
I just don't get why its an Olympic event. Its not even Big3 level competition.
