Let them eat static. The Lakers have to improve to have a reasonable shot, and everyone in the League knows it. The Warriors lose Klay, but they actually made nice pick-ups.
This is fair. It probably sounds like I'm talking out of both sides of my mouth, but I do believe both that (1) Grant can't fetch a great return (e.g., two first round picks or a lightly-protected single first) and (2) the Blazers should just keep him in that case. I agree that there's no reason to hand him over to LA. If they won't pay a nice price, don't trade him there. It's just, I don't think they will pony up.
I agree that Golden State made some shrewd moves this summer!
