Haha, that's why I don't get excited about deals unless they are on manutd.com.

Don't worry. 3 more signings on their way.

De Ligt and Mazraoui in - Van Bissaka out. Ten Hag keeps accumulating his former players, hope this will be solid addition to depleted defense. Martinez needs to stay healthy though.

I didn't realize Zirkzee is so **** huge man. Wow, and when they showed off the 4 new signings pregame, De Ligt may have been the shortest dude. Holy smokes.

I'm super fond of both of those dutchmen. I'll be tuning in to plenty of United games this season as long as they're healthy.
People claim that De Ligt didn't succeed at Juve, when in reality he was fantastic. The fans adored him and continue to. He was still behind Chiellini and Bonucci in the pecking order and then when Sarri left and Allegri returned, he decided the tactical differences didn't suit him. I still think he'll be a world class defender for years to come. And Zirkzee is a stud

McTominay deal looks close. Bring on Ugarte. C'mon, let's get this **** over the line.

I think Zirkzee will start v. 'Pool and Rashford will get his last chance in the 11. If he plays similar, Garnacho will take his place in the next game.

You thought it would be different after retaining Ten Hag?

Watching that game against Brighton was painful. It felt like the ball was always stuck by our keeper and the defenders. Is there a reason why our midfielders aren't coming back to help push the ball up?

Not a ETH fan by any means, but I'm also one who believes the problems went way deeper than any manager. I had a shred of optimism because we actually made sizable moves this summer, but the essence of this team feels exactly the same.

I agree. It was very strange to read people on social media and even some pundits suggest we played well and deserved 3 points after the game. Was I watching a different match? BHA was bodying us.

Got Ugarte and Kone.

No nothing about Kone but glad to be buying young players and not old ones.

I like United signing young players like Kone and hopefully Obi-Martin this year. If they become first team players great. If there isn't a spot on first team due to good players blocking them, then you can sell them for future transfer funds. If they don't ever become anything, you can just take the lost and move on.

Do United fans still think Ten Hag is the right manager for the club?

Sky Sports had a graphic today showing the £616m spent:

- Antony £85.4m
- Hojlund £72m
- Casemiro £70m
- Mount £60m
- Yoro £58.9m
- Martinez £56.7m
- Ugarte £50.7m
- Onana £47.2m
- De Ligt £42.7m
- Zirkzee £30m
- Mazraoui £17.1m
- Malacia £14.7m
- Eriksen Free

Ten Hag has no future. Problem is the Glazers and their crappy front office. 11 Years of garbage. Will take a few years to fix. Most players we have are still from their regime.

Ten Hag just has a crappy system for the players we have. Wrong formation.

Antony, Casemiro and Mount were the worst signings under the Ten Hag/Glazer short 3 year Era. Big names but no plan attached.

Not sure I agree with that. Most of these players are his players.

Those playing not brought in under Ten Hag:
- McGuire at CB, though he likely won't feature as much with De Ligt and Yoro ahead of him
- Shaw or Dalot at LB
- Fernandes
- Rashford
