I dont think so, he lived his whole life in Germany. His only connection to Brazil is his father.
Also, he has more chances of medals playing for Germany than my country and theoretically he is better than Oscar, so he might get some PT.

Who knows. Personally, I don't think TDS has star potential but a high end role-player. Playing for GER he might be a 8th-9th man playing behind Franz, Bonga , Moe.. while if he plays for BRA he might be the star.
Kind of like the Anti-Paolo

Re: Olympics - OQT
Solid win by Germany, right in the lion's den.
Yeah I very much doubt it. Even his Brazilian father was in lederhosen at the draft, and has been living in Munich for a long time iirc. Also that German program seems more fun to be a part of. Though I do worry somewhat about what will happen once Schröder retires or falls off. I'm not sure they will be able to field a backcourt that can really compete with the top teams.

Franz being 2-2 from 3pt range gives me hope...
then his next 3 attempts at that range were all rushed/heat check so he went 2-5 right?

yeah, 3 of his 3pt attempts were last minute attempts he had to shoot before the buzzer iirc

Thinking that he isn't worth $45 mil per today is NOT the same as "Franz sux".
I'm actually big fan of his and have been. There are like 2 or 3 random posters from time to time that come and say he sucks but it's not often.

Why did I think Germany vs Franz was going to be a good game?
