Tell that to the people over my local shopping mall and their draconian 'no masturbating in front of the lingerie mannequins' policy. I thought this was a free country, but apparently not for good God fearing folk who just want to stroke the one eyed gopher whenever the urge calls.

Gym workouts are why he's slimming up instead of not giving a sh- and showing up overweight to camp.

Gym workouts are where one can improve his shot mechanics. Where's someone like Biyombo's 3pt gym mix tape when he was a Sun?

Such weirdo responses sometimes. You should WANT the guys who's limitations held the team back working in the offseason to improve in as many areas as they can.

I think his point is that what you see in gym workouts are basically highlights and not necessarily to buy the hype. I've mentioned the Ben Simmons cycle before about how every offseason he releases a gym workout video where he's splashing 3's like he's the 3rd splash bro, he's putting on muscle and he's doing all these other things you've wanted to see from him for years and then by ASW, you see he's only attempted like 4 threes all season so far.

Like what you see in gym workout videos is what they want you to see which is fine. I certainly want to see Nurk working on his 3's but don't set your expectations too high just because he's showing you all the splashes and none of the bricks

Booker and Durant's quality play in the Olympics with Kerr giving both of them top minutes in games says a lot. Sounds like Book has been the defensive and glue guy while Durant puts up easy buckets. I feel comfortable that Book is willing to sacrifice his offensive game for the betterment of the Suns team over all next season.

I mentioned nothing about expectations.

I'm also not 5 years old. I have been watching this game for nearly 4 decades and I'm well aware the video doesn't suddenly make him a viable 3pt threat.

I specifically mentioned how his SHOT MECHANICS seem to have improved and he's clearly a lot lighter which unless some of you guys want to suggest its a filter - it's not negated because "it's just a video bro."

Respectfully - the Simmons comparison is as flat as they come. That guy is a known quitter and for years now. His videos mean nothing because he is a nothing.

I don't think Book has ever had an issue with playing a lesser creator role if it means the team is better.

OK fine so why you blowing up Mulhollanddrive's simple comment to not read too much into feel-good highlight workout videos. It's not that serious

We have a lot of rotation players with shakey playoff history.

Jones, Nurkic, O'Neale, Bol, Plumlee

I'm trying not to get my hopes up if we end up maxed out at 2nd round.

I hope KD's extra time at the olympics doesn't wear his body and impact his longevity during the season. Though OTOH, we only had 4 playoff games, so that helps.

From a mock draft :

19 T-Wolves TyTy Washington PG – Kentucky – HT: 6-3 3/4 – WT: 196 – WING: 6-8 – Fr – TyTy was banged up late in the season but looked like a top 10 pick before that. This would be great value here. Brandon Knight+

I guess we'll see more failed 1st rounders on two-way contracts with all the picks traded.

What am I not supposed to read into though? That's kinda the point Im trying to make.

He literally lost the weight and if you look at his shooting mechanics - his release is crisper and he's getting the shot off quicker (for Nurk standards) than what it looked like last year. It always looked like he took 2mins to gather himself before getting those 3's up.

Other than that - zero predictions were made. More power to Mulholland if he wants to be pithy about it.

Mulholland's joke somehow turned into a serious debate.

Looking at Nurk's 3PT% last five seasons won't be any surprise if he shoots 35%+ next season.

Sounds great....except for the part where I saw mention of Brandon Knight.

Yeah I found the comparison interesting though from the 1-2 min YT highlights I watched he doesn't remind me of BK at all. Anyway, there is some potential, so hope he and Dunn have a good time in g league.

It's crazy, every time I go to Peacock to see the USA basketball games or just the time which shows a picture of the matchup, it's always Book in the picture.

I also have to say, watching these, LeBron looks like by far the best player. If you are just counting shooting, obviously KD, but LeBron really looks miles ahead of most everyone. Derrick White actually looks good too. Would have loved to have gotten Derrick White when Boston made that savvy move. Would be nice if Dunn could turn into a bigger version of him...but I guess that's asking for a lot.

I'm no LeBron fanboy (actually I dislike him), but he looks like the best player at the whole olympics. And that with 39 years old. I respect him a lot for his achievements in this sport.
