earlier I think it was Booker who had a layup, but the guy blocked the shot after it obviously hit the backboard first. Is that not goaltending in FIBA rules? Or did the refs just miss a clear call?

Feel like this second unit has played better than the starters all Olympics. I wonder what the on / off numbers say, but I don’t think the US loses if they play the second unit most of the game.

I'm 100% with you guys on the second unit. I think it should be those 5 and Lebron, Booker, and Holiday getting the majority of the minutes.

From a strategic standpoint: Yes.
But with so many stars and egos I don't think it is possibly to sit that many guys for that many minutes - just from a human nature, team chemistry standpoint.

I like this lineup though.... Curry, Edwards, Lebron, KD, and Davis. Just don't let Edwards pound the ball.

I don't know what's up with Curry though. I'm old as hell and the only thing I can do in a pickup game at this point is hit an open shot. He's been off anytime I watch Olympics.
