Golden State is heading towards one of the toughest places in sports. On the one hand, Steph is still one of the top 7 players in the world and means so much to the franchise. On the other hand, do you want to offload future assets for what could only be a 1-3 year window at best as a fringe contender? Remember, Steph turns 37 in March and has a ton of playoff mileage on him.
I think Steph has earned the right to either finish his career in Golden State, or for the Warriors to accommodate him to a desired destination to round out his career.
But given how hard it is for a player to stay in one spot for his entire career - I see Steph staying.
