For real. He clearly didn’t see him. He was the fastest dude and blew that

First time watching the 100m dash? Bolt showboated even more and no one hated on him. You gotta have that level of ego to be a top level sprinter. L comment dudes just having fun.

I don't remember people showboating as much. Marcell Jacobs won last olympics. And Kerley lost by 4 1/100ths of a second to get Silver. Neither of those guys showboat.

However, Bolt is the guy who TOLD Noah to showboat and have a big personality because the sport needs it. They want the sport to become popular. People talk about what he said about the NBA, but it drew a ton of attention to the sport and they need it.

His words had nothing to do with it, but I'm a lot bigger Track and Field fan the last year and will start watching all the Diamond League matches, annual World championships and NCAA championships. It's interesting to know all the contenders from each country.

Probably more interesting than any other sport to me outside of the NFL and NBA, because you may have favorites, but not necessarily for long, and they can come from anywhere. You won't have the same dominant teams every year for years.

You can argue Lyles didn't have a good jump from the get go. If he does he probably wins a little more comfortably.

Even though I disagree with him about the whole World Champions thing, I'm glad he won the gold. You need to be arrogant sometimes to win. Bolt was arrogant and he showed everyone why he was the best.

I have to wonder if he just never noticed Lyles catching up. He thought all the competition was to his left because Lyles was dragging for the first 2/3 of the race.

Juliette Whitaker had a great lean in her 800 semis too. But yeah, when you are running from the front like Thompson, you don't necessarily know you need to lean. Lyles always knows what he has to do, since he usually comes from behind.

Some grandpa yelling at the clouds takes here. Bet yall hated bolt too, its what makes the sprints fun. Sorry but when youre the fastest human alive you should be showboating.

Everyone has their own personal taste, man. I don't really see a point in arguing about it.

I'm glad you are a fan of Noah Lyles. Congrats to him.

Bolt got slammed for showboating back in his day too. Some BS about the purists being upset at him. Doubt Lyles cares he showed it tonight and will likely cruise the 200m gold also.

You also can't say it doesn't benefit him financially. He gets attention and money because of the show/style/whatever you want to call it he puts out there.

I also won't criticize someone for trying to make money and attempting to differentiate themselves in events that may not be paid attention to otherwise for large parts of the year and in an event with a narrow window of setting yourself up financially the rest of your life.

I'm not very fun at parties honestly. But it's you posting hostile reactions to other people's personal opinions. Which is not very fun either. Cheers.

Well Team USA basketball has to win the gold themselves now or Noah's not going to let them hear it.

I think Lyles is the least of their worries, the whole country will roast them if they don't win and rightfully so.

Hey did I miss the pre-heats for the women's 400m hurdles? Or that hasn't happened yet?

I had written on a note that the 1st round was on very early this morning and I should watch the replay today, but now I'm not finding what I'm looking for. I need some Femke and Sydney in my life.

The heats took place today, so I guess you need to search better. ;)
