We're underrating Green I think.
He was nice last year. Had poor shooting performance vs Indiana but it was his first playoff, with all of the injuries.

so you think Green could command a 15M-20M salary for his next contract, then? yeah?

Beasley was coming off a $20 million per season contract when we signed him. They're very similar caliber players. Trent is the better defender, but Beasley actually participates in rebounding, and is better finishing at the hoop.
AJ Green is just as good as either, and is easily the best passer of the bunch.
I will never understand why Bucks constantly want to surround Giannis with poor passers.

i'm walking away slowly.
Trent was well below replacement level last year, Green wasn't. It isn't a bold statement.
Dude where are you getting this info from that trent was below replacement level ffs everytime you wanna make a point you throw that out there beas was trent was your msn crush green wasnt fu.. man maybe green would of been to if he played any reasonable amount of minutes.Man you hsve 1 giant hard on for green.Hes better thsn beas n now omfg hes better also than trent.Green IMO is barely above replacement level

The stat is readily available at any site, you can't tell me to f off over a stat, it's a fact. You can argue the validity of the stat, but a common trend is "shooter only" players just aren't that valuable. None of Beas, Trent, or Green carry high value, but I like Green better because he can pass and is still ascending.
Wright is more valuable and a better fit than all of them. Why don't you like Wright?

What was Trent the two years prior? Also, comparing Green to Trent is silly based on Green sample size.
Hopefully, Trent and Green combine to be a strong duo at the SG position who shoot the 3 at a high level and lock up opposing players.
Wright should not be compared to either player because he doesn't shoot enough. He needs a bounce back year to hopefully get back to his budget Alex Caruso level play.

Trent does try on D more so than beas he has been in top 10 for i think 3 years now on deflections and has his hand in the steals dept to.I think trent is alot more than just a shooter.Beas shot what 12xs a game on average lol that anyone would consider him a chucker or shooter.Im sure STJs definition of shooter only would change if green was hoisting up 14 shots a night

I've haven't seen him much b/c he barely plays with injuries and limited minutes, but his play with Australia has definitely looked like what people had hyped him to be prior to the draft.

I'm happy to have Trent but the reality is there's gonna be a lot of long nights for the Bucks and this board if he can't guard the opposing team's best wing relatively effectively.
A lot of you seem to forget that we scored the ball just fine last season. That's not where we need improvement.

We do need offensive improvement, too, although I suppose that may have virtually nothing to with Trent.
I really think a Giannis, Dame, and Khris grouping should be the number 1 offense in the league. They are too talented, and their preferred areas mesh so well that anything short of 1 would leave me a little underwhelmed.

The Pacers had a better offensive rating vs. the Knicks than they had vs. us (we actually held them below their season average even without Giannis). Maybe the Knicks need to get better defensively.

I'm sorry, but Trent Green has 100% made condescending remarks regarding Rachel Leigh Cook moments after being nice to her face. You'll get your comeuppance Trent Green, oh yes you will.

Man who has definitely spoken the phrase, "Who's the new girl??" in reference to a non-new girl who has removed her glasses.

So I checked out the Warriors board and caught a post about how great I'd be if they could find a legit big who is a lights-out shooter.
Asked them about Bobby Portis or Brook Lopez as options if Golden State has been waiting to fully close the door on Lauri.
We talked plenty earlier in the offseason about Moody and Wiggins. What we'd give up for either of them (or require to take on Wiggins) is even less clear now post-GTJ.
One of their posters replied asking about Draymond for Brook.
Definitely debate over there about him. I noted how highly the Bucks value Brook (per Horst's interview) even aside from the...variables (to say it kindly) with Green. They're hard capped at the 1st apron and we're at the 2nd so couldn't be a straight swap either.
Anyways it's the doldrums of summer. Stirring the pot! Here's that thread from their board if curious:

Well, they did. They've made multiple moves over the last year to do just that.
The Knicks lost their best defender mid series. They were pretty good defensively all year and probably got better this offseason..
