Did the Knicks extend Randle yet?

RAps signed that C that some here were dreaming of after he was cut by the Hawks...
All NY media is pumping us up to be disappointed when Sims doesn't show up this year as prime Dwight Howard with a 3 point shot.

It is Monday morning... No one likes to do heavy work at this time...
Besides, Randle can postpone the extension to avoid the possibility of being traded at the deadline. If he re-sigs on August 7th, I think the Knicks can not trade him this midseason.

He’s not the player you want next to Brunson. Incredible talent though. Obviously the Knicks shouldn’t say no, but he isn’t leaving them and the Warriors would ask for very young or future assets in return, of which we have none left.
Golden State is heading towards one of the toughest places in sports. On the one hand, Steph is still one of the top 7 players in the world and means so much to the franchise. On the other hand, do you want to offload future assets for what could only be a 1-3 year window at best as a fringe contender? Remember, Steph turns 37 in March and has a ton of playoff mileage on him.
I think Steph has earned the right to either finish his career in Golden State, or for the Warriors to accommodate him to a desired destination to round out his career.
But given how hard it is for a player to stay in one spot for his entire career - I see Steph staying.
EDIT: Very sketchy source, so increase the speculation factor...
If Curry's saying this kind of stuff now then I think he will be traded by the deadline unless some of their young talent steps up.
GS knows they need to retool and basically pushed Klay out. They won't do that to Curry but they're also not making all in type moves to appease him. It's somewhat analogous to the Dame situation in Portland though I doubt it drags out the way Dame's did because of personality differences between the two players. Dame was very emotionally attached/invested, and I think Curry will be more pragmatic.
The Knicks should not be in play.

Curry isn't a fit here, clearly.
However, a Randle + Sims for Draymond + Looney could work... Draymond is crazy, sure, but his defense and passing is elite and he's helped GSW win multiple titles. Still has a couple of years in the tank IMO. If we're going all in and want to try to win one this season and/or next season... we could do worse than Draymond especially if Randle isn't playing ball on his contract. We'd be the #1 defensive team and quite possibly the #1 3pt shooting team and #1 end of game execution team. And we'd have guys who could slow down Brown, Tatum, Luka, SGA, etc. so Brunson could cook.

why the fk would that make sense for the knicks? you can’t trade randle without getting a legit secondary scoring option.. it’s that simple.

While it's similar to the Dame situation there is a difference. Curry has earned the right to decide if he finishes in Golden State or not. Dame didn't earn that same right in Portland.
It's tough when the star still feels he can compete and the organization doesn't feel the same way. Remember, Curry won't be on the team in 4-7 years when they are potentially a bottom of the league team without control of their draft. In a lot of ways, this is similar to the situation that the Lakers and Lebron are in, with Lebron wanting the Lakers to give up all their picks for the best piece they can get and the Lakers wanting to hold out for the future.
