Lions were a play or two away from the Superbowl...they are one of the favs to get there again this year. Hopefully its not just one day...but the Giants were smacked around by Lions last year during these joint practices so to compete with them today is promising. Hopefully they can do the same tomorrow.

Its a tough place to be in. However, tough to be mad at the team if they are competing for a WC spot if they are playing and being coached well.

I look at it like this if the Giants are better then expected the defense has to be pretty good and Jones and the passing attack with Nabers/Hyatt/Robinson has to be doing pretty well as well (which also means the OL has to be holding up somewhat).

They certainly built the team to prioritize the passing attack more (adding Nabers and letting Barkley go). Even Hardknocks kinda insinuated that there pivot from trading up for a QB was running it back with DJ and giving him a pathway to improve.

If they do well its hard to be upset, if they do bad they probably will be in the top 10 with a chance for a QB via the draft. I don't know what kinda season Jones would have to have for you to be ok with not getting a top QB in next year class, any thoughts?

There is nothing Jones can do short of winning a Super Bowl next year for me to not want a different QB.

So that means I’m going to want a new QB.

He made it to the second round 2 years ago and still was ass….. he would have to clean up every flaw he had for me to taking him from my scope and I don’t see that happening. He is kinda old at this point to show real promise moving forward. Very rare bum QBs take some huge jump at Jones age.

So yeah….. SB or bust.

Nah. I don’t see it. Unless he slides from top 10. I see our range being middle of the pack type. We was super ass last year and still got 6th in the draft. With all the money spent and having a WR Corp. I see us closer to 9+

also questionable if he wants to even come.

a few months ago deion was talking about this list of teams that his son will only play for. every team on that list either has a qb or just drafted one in the first round this year so we'll see what happens. that list might gonna have to be updated whenever shedeur actually comes out

Today was the first 7 v 7 work the Giants have done all camp. Daboll has had them playing hard 11 on 11 from the door. It's clearly making a difference

We can still be in play for Cam Ward or Carson Beck.

Having an actual RT that can play the position makes a huge difference. Barring any injuries, I think it's a wrap for Neal here.

Flott got lit up out there. We need to get a veteran CB2, enough is enough.

I think McCloud will eventually beat out Flott for the CB2. Phillips looks good in the slot.

Lot of media members says been most intense practice in years of covering Giants. Let’s keep it up. I expect lions to fight back today.

These sports illustrated guys comparing giants line of scrimmage to eagles some years ago. They were at the practice.

Its a tough place to be in. However, tough to be mad at the team if they are competing for a WC spot if they are playing and being coached well.

It's not just a Flott problem.

It's also encouraging that Banks has been matching up with Nabers better than the Lions secondary has.

yeah cause he wasnt drafted in 2019 and has sucked since then. smh. You acting like this dude just came in the NFL. He has never been a good QB. We talking about a top 6 picked QB five years ago and we still dont have confirmation yet.

How TF do you act like he got drafted last year and we have only one year of evaluation. This aint Springfield.... so my name is not Homer.
