I've almost exclusively been using Netflix / Prime for shows & Max / Disney for movies. Just finished the Boys S4. That show just remains unmatched. Can't wait to start Fallout. Also have to finish Ms Maisel. Netflix I got my son into the Dragon Prince - got to catch up on S6 personaly. Also got to wrap up Cobra Kai. I have so many of their shows in my queue. 3 Body Problem, The Brother's Sun, Deadboy Detectives, Sweet Tooth, Peaky Blinders etc. I'm down the Suits rabbit hole right now.

The Gentlemen was **** awesome. So was the Diplomat, FUBAR, Obliterated. Netflix has really stepped up with awesome content.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Admits He Left a Dead Bear in Central Park

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the independent presidential candidate, confessed on Sunday that he had left a dead bear cub in Central Park in Manhattan in 2014 because he thought it would be “amusing.”

Mr. Kennedy posted a video detailing the bizarre story on social media ahead of an article in The New Yorker that mentions the incident.

“Looking forward to seeing how you spin this one,” he said, tagging the magazine.

In the video, Mr. Kennedy appears to be seated in a kitchen as he casually tells the actress Roseanne Barr about the ordeal. He says that he was driving through the Hudson Valley when he saw a woman in a van hit and kill a young bear.

“I pulled over and I picked up the bear and put him in the back of my van because I was going to skin the bear,” he says. “It was very good condition and I was going to put the meat in my refrigerator.”
Mr. Kennedy then details how he had to attend a dinner at Peter Luger Steak House in New York City and then head to the airport, which meant he had to get rid of the bear. He decided to leave the bear in Central Park with an old bicycle to make it look like it had been hit by the bike.

Mr. Kennedy says that he was worried when officials investigated the crime scene, “because my prints were all over that bike.”

Ms. Barr listens closely to the story, laughing and looking shocked. Mr. Kennedy tells her that fact checkers from The New Yorker asked him about the story: “It’s going to be a bad story.”

Indeed, the bear cub caused quite a stir when it was found in the park in 2014, as reported in The New York Times in an article coincidentally written by Tatiana Schlossberg, a reporter for The Times at that time, and the daughter of Mr. Kennedy’s first cousin Caroline Kennedy. A woman was walking her dog in Central Park when she noticed it lying under some bushes, partly concealed by an abandoned bicycle. The cub was 6 months old and 44 pounds.

The state’s Department of Environmental Conservation later found through a necropsy that the cause of death was “blunt force injuries consistent with a motor vehicle collision.”

Ms. Schlossberg said on Sunday evening, “Like law enforcement, I had no idea who was responsible for this when I wrote the story.”

Mr. Kennedy did not appear to confess that he was behind the incident until now. He tried to explain the unusual circumstances to Ms. Barr in the video: “This was a little bit of the redneck in me.”

I've watched The Boys, Vikings Valhalla, Cobra Kai and Mr. Inbetween, which was recommended to me by a coworker and I loved it. Episodes are short and very funny and with a lot of action. Highly recommended it!

Also just finished first season of Succession, which is really good, but all the characters thus far are very unlikeable.

Mr In Between is so great, an underrated gem. Another great Aussie show, a comedy, is Colin from Accounts. Very funny

Yes, Daemon's stasis in purgatory has worn thin, though I tremendously like the actress playing Alys the Witch. It feels like she will have an important role going forwards. It seemed to me she made it possible for him to get the grudging loyalties of the riverfolk, because without her presence I don't believe the young lord would have been emboldened to step forth and levy his complaint which resulted in Daemon beheading one of the clan leaders. Very messy affair and very witchy as Daemon was completely rudderless up to this event. The carnage to come in the riverlands is going to be calamitous and whether Daemon emerges from it remains to be seen.

Yeah I have no idea who will die tomorrow night. But surely Daemon and his dragon will finally enter the fray. Feels like a Daemon v Aemond showdown is inevitable. But I don't think they'll have a major dragon battle with the Blacks' 5 dragons or whatever vs the Greens 2. That would be a lot of CGI.

Interesting how Rhaenyra has Mysaria advising her just as Daemon has Alys manipulating him. Women in key roles behind the scenes, along with the two queens.

The female characters over the course of this second season have kept it interesting. They've deepened the Shakespearean intrigue after the first season set the plate. I wasn't expecting it when Mysaria and Rhaenyra kissed, but it all made sense. Alys and Mysaria are the kinds of secondary characters that make a show like this.

What a letdown Sunday night's finale was. Well made, but just a buildup to the action to come, at least a year now to wait. I read one review said it's almost like the show was trolling us to think some battle was coming. Good story but they dragged the season too much with little action.

If they just made 10 episodes instead of 8 it could have had a great conclusion

Once Succession season finale aired I sort of stopped watching shows. Might have been the best show I’ve seen since Sopranos

Season 3 is war. They were hesitant to uncork the bottle now so I kind of understand the narrative set-up even if it gave us blue balls. I still found the episode satisfying in terms of Rhaenyra's loose threads coming together to consolidate her position though it will be interesting to see if she loses her composure when Alicent doesn't have Aegon to serve up on a platter in the deal they made.

Season 3 will have to leap out of the gates now or people will get pissed though.

Clyde_Style wrote:I recently watched The Queen's Gambit which was one of my favorite series (single season) in a very long time. Anya Taylor-Joy was excellent.

Just binge watched Baby Reindeer. Truly disturbing, more so than most horror films actually. It plays the edge so you can't fully empathize with one character as the key characters are all deeply damaged people. Recommended

House of the Dragons. Guessing many of you are watching this. Gearing up for the season finale tomorrow. Rhaenyra has rebuilt her dragon army and is locked and loaded. I liked the narrative choice to include characters from the "smallfolk" even though the upward mobility offered in the last episode was basically a guaranteed death for the majority of the hopeful dragon riders. I've grown fond of her character as she navigates the treacherous path of being a woman in power in a man's world. Aemond is a formidable SOB though he is already in danger of becoming a one note character in his lust to dominate and seek vengeance.

I did watch 3 Body Problem. Initially, I found it engaging, but by the time the season was over I was resolved to not watch the next season. The logical underpinnings felt misaligned to me. The alien civilization clearly has abilities that transcend space and time and even though the premise may be they want to possess a habitable planet like Earth, I found myself disbelieving the scenario. They lost me when the aliens said they did not understand the concept of lying. Lame. Kudos though to the mind fck of seeing nano fibers dissect a battleship into sliced rubble.

Queen"s Gambit was awesome. Anya was terrific.

House of the Dragon is just ok. It lacks the unexpected plot twists and character development of GOT. Also, the majority of the characters lack charisma. And it is more conservative on the graphic display of sex and violence.

Black Mirror is excdlent although uneven. Some episodes are pretty forgettable...

I had fun watching "Inventing Anna" mainly because I like the protagonist Jule Garner from Ozark. But I feel manipulated by the script. There are many cheap cliffhangers and very few rewards. In retrospect, the journey does not make much sense. Many answers could be discovered sooner.
