So French coach finally benches Gobert and let's Wemby play at C and, big surprise, they are dominating so far.

That i agree was a soft foul. Canada has to dig deeper than this. France is playing confident and playing well + home crowd + refs. They might need an SGA takeover game to get back in this.

Lessort is a guy who can be hacked, he often loses confidence at foul line. I believe in Euroleague play offs this season, he missed like 10 in a row in a single game. Funny that his overall % is not that terrible, over 60%, but in stretches, he can miss everything. He is unskilled but has great footwork, and for Dillion Brooks, its a bit tough there down low, they can resort to hack him.

How is Jamal Murray not destroying these guards?

Terrible finish to the half for Canada. Get it under 10 after playing like that and you're actually in decent shape. But now you've got an absolute mountain to climb.

Tuning off, these refs should be in prison for rigging...

Murray wide open! from 3 chooses to dribble it in and pass out for a teammate to take a contested 3?? What a dummy.

Is this the Canada team that we were supposed to be scared of?

Halftime: France 45, Canada 29

Could have been bigger so that's the good news for Canada. They'll need a perfect second half to get back in this though. Very much probable but they have to put some pressure on ballhandlers early because that has been what made them a special team in their group stage games this Olympics.

Putting a halftime bet on Canada, best best value now.

Wow, with that crowd Canada has to really come out strong in the 3rd to have a chance.

Excellent game plan and execution by France. Absorbing a lot of physicality and imposing their will down low.

Keep. It. Going.

So he's correct, French has been dominating so far. LOL

Canada just don't know how to respond to some iffy calls. Some dumb decisions, dumber shots and some low basketball IQ plays offensively cost them some points.

Canada should probably stop fouling so much then
